Posted - Apr 04 2012 : 06:31:00 AM Barbara,
Your adorable block came in the mail yesterday. It really is great work with a very intricate pattern. I hope someday to be as skillful as you are.
Also thank you for the cute little sewing kit. I never seen one for a change purse like this and I am looking forward to making it. My sewing room is in a state of chaos at the moment as Dear Hubby puts finishing touches to our finally (after three years of us working on it) basement. Whew! Soon I will be able to sew up a storm and not worry about having builders dust all over.
Hugs, Joan

Thanks bunches for the great shamrock block. I can see that you put a lot of work into it, I truly love it. THEN.... the fat quarters, needles, thread, and such a sweet card!
My sewing room has been brightened, and my heart has been warmed by your generous and thoughtful gifts.

Posted - Mar 16 2012 : 5:48:55 PM Nettie, I e-mailed you for address. Just to let the group know, I received a card from Darlene today. She is taking radiation now. She said her eyes and hands are improving, but it is like having the flu X1,000/ 24/7. I am keeping her in my prayers. I have an idea for a swap, but it is not a quilt block, but fat quarter exchange. We could cut our own out of fabric we have a share. Rebecca Rebecca

Posted - Mar 16 2012 : 05:56:38 AM Barbara, I have your address and will put your block in the mail today. I think wonky house idea would be fun. I once saw a series of house blocks that reflected all the months..combining our monthly blocks with the same house pattern each month would really make a nice quilt.

Posted - Mar 16 2012 : 02:45:54 AM Yes Cherise! April's block is bunnies and easter. May's block will be flowers..... I am glad that we have been able to continue this swap. If anyone has an idea for a larger swap that they would like to do... just let me know. I would like to make wonky houses. Anyone else interested? We have our quilt show this weekend. I really enjoy looking at what others have made. Keeps my creative juices flowing.
