1.Sign-ups begin now and end Jan 6th. To sign up, post on this forum thread.
2.When you sign up, please request 1 or more partners. If you do not indicate how many, I’ll assume you want to swap with 1 partner.
3.I will post a list of partners on Jan 7th. You must email your partner(s) and exchange names & addresses by Jan 13th.
4.Mail out deadline is Jan 31st.
5.Body of doll should be 3”-5” (not counting the loop on top of head or beads hanging below).
6. Doll can be made from and decorated with any materials. (fabric, felt, beads, etc) There is no theme for Jan.
7. If you need ideas, do a google images search or see tutorials on youtube.
NOTE: I am hosting a separate Valentine's dotee doll swap that will run with similar time lines to this Jan swap.

Mel....I'm mailing your Dottee tomorrow! Actually my mom is mailing her because I haven't been able to get away from work to do it! Plus I have a package to pick up so yours is here...just haven't quite gotten there yet! I'm so sorry for the delay! I had fun making her...I hope you love her! |

Royann, I got my Dotee today and she is sweet as can be! She looks like an ice queen, with her blue cape, crystal and blue beads in her tail, and all the little snowflake sequins! Thanks, this was my first Dotee swap, and it was a lot of fun.

Beverley, I received my doll and she is so cute. I love her. I am using your idea of the curtain rod to hang my doll up. I put the rod in my closet door in my sewing room. She is my first Dotee Doll. She looks so cute up there. Thank you so much.

I have acurtain rod around here someplace that is the spring action kind and I am going to find where I put it and hang all my dottee dolls from it in my sewing room , to display them. what do you think. they give me a smile every time I look at them. I hope to get enough to have them hanging across the whole window!!!
