after the holidays and with the cold weather
lots of cups of hot drinks are needed so
a nice Scrappy WINTER MUG RUG
would be perfec ..so start these sewing machines and get creative!!lol
be sure you can commit
you can take one or two partners.
the fabric chose would be up to the artist

I need to give a much overdue shout out to Linda and Marsha. Oh my goodness, they both made me a wonderful mug rug! (with some extras thrown in). I thought I had already posted on here, but we went on a minivacation and in all that hubbub, I forgot to.
Thank you so much to the both of you. They were both such different styles and yet absolutely perfect me! I will try and post some pictures as soon as we get some batteries for my camera.
What a wonderful swap!

I received your package yesterday. I adore the mug rug! I love the colors and the way you quilted it. It is beautiful!! I love the book mark too! How did you know that I was currently using a square of toilet paper to keep my place in my current read? I can hardly wait to try all the teas and dive into the candy.

I received your package yesterday, and I had tears in my eyes as I pulled out the beautiful mug rug. It just touched me, because it is so me and so beautiful! I will take a picture and post soon! It was so nice to get a little touch of winter and snow from a farmgirl sister! Thank you also for the beautifully cross stitched bib for my daughter on the way. That was so very thoughtful! I also love love love all the goodies you included. I used my mug rug and mug for my tea and pistachios this morning as I wrote in my journal. It was such a nice way to start the day. I could gush over this package forever. Thank you so much, Julie. I hope you receive your package soon.

Annette, Received your adorable mugrug. How did you know that I love, love, love chickens. They look so cute prancing around on the mugrug. I will go out to our coop that is named the Chick-Inn and show it to Charlie the rooster and his 7 little Angels. Well.. maybe I won't do that, but I WILL enjoy it everyday as it holds my tea cup by the computer. Thanks bunches,

Your mug rug you made especially for me is wonderful. I was so excited to get it Thank you thank you thank you. I love it the colors are wonderful I love the red and the charm on the corner. what a clever idea.
Oh and the hot chocolate mix delicious. Of course I had to use my mug rug for my cup. Only problem is my husband keeps taking it. I told him to make his own.

Julie and Joan, I apologize; I finished both your mug rugs this weekend but spent today in Urgent Care with my daughter. She slipped off a swing bar at gym today and we were afraid she had broken her forearm.. all is well, no breaks but we didn't get anything else accomplished today including getting to the post office. Your packages are ready to go out first thing in the morning.
