A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

I just had a questioned asked if other items could be added besides foodie treats! Absolutely! The dollar amount set was for the swap, as many farm girls are on a tight budget. But I look at the additional items as goodies added to the package and a gift above and beyound the swap items. I myself intend to do a combination of food and other treats. And for the record I personally have never been able to stay within any budget set, although I really do try. I always find just one more item I think a farmgirl sister will like :). Hope that answers any questions. Only a couple more days to go!

Hi, Deanna,
So glad you liked it! I loved my box! The pumpkin towel is hanging on my stove, we loved the treats, and I still have all my wonderful decorations up! The card is SO great, and you are so talented! I told my son I was going to wear the 'Happy Halloween' an witch decorations as earrings, just to see him cringe, but we hung them from the bookcase instead!Wish I could post a shot, but still not that high-tech! Hugs, Jamie

Hi, Jamie, I got your wonderful package! I arrived home after a very stressful week at work and it was a great stress reliever to see my package from you! Actually my whole family was waiting for me to get home so they could see what I got. I loved everything in the package!! My favorite was the wooden pumpkin it was very unique. Of course the chocolate was great, too. The container it was in was very cute. I hope you have opened yours by now because I had a very busy weekend and did not get to reply until today.
Thanks again for everything,
Deanna

Yesterday when I came home from work I found a wonderful package from Linda waiting for me.
Thank you very much for all the wonderful things you have send me, I just LOVE them. The ribbons and the lace are beautiful and I love the trick or treat bag. The pomegranates sachet smells delicious and the magnet is lovely too. The tag is cute and so is the small jack o lantern notebook and the notepaper.
Thanks again.
I hope that my package also has arrived or will arrive soon.

Ginny, I'm glad u enjoyed what i sent....I wished I could take credit for painting the Salt & Pepper shakers and the Pumpkin..but sad to say I'm not that talented...I found the shakers as well as the Pilgrims at the shop I bought the candles at....they have antiques section and that's were I found them...I bought the pumpkin at our appleumpkin festival here in Tecumseh, MI ....I also bought some pumpkin fudge to send u but someone saw it in the frig and helped them selves so that didn't make it........I truly enjoyed all u sent....the Whoopie Pie was awesome...as were the treats u made...it was a fun swap...thanks again

Thanks to Diana, your fun filled Halloween package arrived
and loved everything you put in it. Can't wait to try the pumpkin
spice tea in the cute pumpkin mug. What a sweet woven basket with
the leaves on the sides and I adored the fall whimsy jar with the
pretty ribbon and leaf shaped buttons, etc. The pumpkin shaped
"Peeps" are so cheerful. Thanks again for your wonderful
Halloween package!

What I make with my
hands, I give with my heart ....

Lin - That "big" cookie is actually called a Whoopie Pie. Until I moved to Maine I had never heard of or seen one but here they are on the counters everywhere. It's a real Maine thing which is why I sent it. They come in all different flavors, I sent you the basic one.

Now for my treat box! Here's a BIG {{{{HUG}}}} to you! OMB (that's oh my bun, us bunnie owners say that so as not to upset God)! Ladies, I must be the luckiest one in the bunch! It's sure going to be Halloween here which is great because we don't get trick or treaters at our door! Thank you Thank you Thank you! I love it all! I really got a kick out of the "faces". I've never seen them before. Did you know I collect Salt & Pepper shakers? Did you paint them? They are beautiful, as is the little pumpkin. And the smell is to die for! The nicest smelling candles ever! I have one burning now. Thought I'd put one of the bandanas on Oggie as his "costume" and the other in my hair Halloween along with the glow in the dark fangs, too cute! And of course those socks will be worn that day too, probably the entire weekend really. The pumpkin seeds are my hubby's favorite nut. So I'm going to share with him. I thought I'd give him the pez since he collects them too! But I won't until Halloween. I love the "caramel corn". Ladies, it is in the shape of a corn cob! And by the time Thanksgiving is here I will have put on 20 pounds eating all the goodies you sent me! Those pilgrims will go nicely on our table Thanksgiving too! I thank you so much! Having been home other than my part time job for the last 4 months because of my hubbies foot surgery, this was the nicest treat I could ever get! Here's a picture of all the goodies I was sent, Lin really out did herself! What a Sweetie she is!

Hi Catherine!!! Thank you thank you thank you for all the fun trick or treat items!! We got home late last night and there it was! It was so much fun to go through all the stuff you put together! The towel is now displayed on my oven door, the kitties are greeting us at the sink, the tissues and notepad are tucked away in my bag and the candles are waiting to be burned! It won't be too long before my family finds the bucket with the yummy chocolates (unless I mysteriously hide those...) ;0). Oh, and the bandaids are puurrfect for this time of year! Thank you, Catherine! You are a blessing!

Sabrena, I received my box today, what fun! I love the pumpkin mug and the tea - I am a big tea drinker and I love chai. Of course, now I will have to have some cake with my tea :)
To keep me company I have some tiny but creepy nevertheless rats and an evil spidery thing, but the scented candle may calm them down. If not, i will burn them out with all the wonderful sweets.....peeps and just about a gazillion tootsie rolls!! All watched over by a huge friendly jack-o-lantern, Thank you!!
