Diana, Guess what I got today? The most amazing block! Beautiful colors, super hand needle work with the tiniest little buttons, VERY creative! Thank you so very much Diana. I agree with Rebecca .... I have truly enjoyed swapping blocks with the same group. We have our own quilting bee "twenty first century style" that is.....LOL, Barbara

Diana, I hope you don't think you have let me down, because you have not. I think everyone gets busy at this time of year and I also know you are a great needlewoman and I am sure anyone would be proud to have you as a partner. I would not mind if you said "Gee, I can't get your block to you until after the beginning of the year." (I just know it would be worth the wait! LOL) It has been so nice getting to know some of the same people through Darlene's quilt swaps. I truly see and feel the sisterhood forming through these swaps and it is all good! Rebecca

Received my October block and love it love it. You are getting really good at machine applique. Good for you! The extra goodie you sent was wonderful! I already have it hanging from my shelf. Pictures to be posted this week.

I would love to continue on with the December block. It would be so neat to have one for every month. I like the idea of sending to Darlene, so whatever everyone agrees upon is good for me.

I will do whatever the rest of you think best for the December block. I also think it would be nice to rotate sending her blocks, either block of the month or friendship blocks. I keep her in my thoughts each day as I know you all are too.

I was wondering about whether we should start the December block or not too. I say go for it as long as you don't think Darlene will mind. It would be great for me if the due date wasn't until Dec. 1st or after. Just my two cents. Have a fabulous day! :)

Susan, Your block will also go out Monday. Not to worry. I have not heard from Darlene. I will be mailing her block Monday. Hopefully she is just taking time for herself to rest and regain her strength. Do you guys think that we should start the Dec blocks? We could each take turns sending Darlene a block. I think that would make her smile. After all farm girls do pitch-in to help each other. What does everyone think?

Oh Diana, don't worry if you don't get it off for a bit. I know you will and I know it will worth the wait! Everyone of your blocks has been beautiful, in the other swaps. I have not seen anything of Darlene lately either. I am very worried and pray for her return to good health.

Hi Cherise ~ I was afraid the block she sent me had gotten lost in the mail as she told me it was being mailed at a certain time (as if it was finished and just hadn't been sent yet). I've emailed her about it but no answer back.

Hello Sharon... Darlene has you and I for the October BOM. I haven't received mine yet either. She's been going through Chemo so I'm assuming that's why we haven't received them. I haven't wanted to bother her. I figured she'd get to it when she could. I am getting worried though as it's been a while since we've heard from her. Has anyone heard from her as to how she's doing?
