Posted - Sep 28 2011 : 5:49:49 PM Maddie: Thank you for the e-card response!! AND THE PRAYERS!! You are so thoughtful! My DH is still in bed and we are now at the end of the third month. I am so exhausted and prayers are always appreciated. We find out next week if he will finally get a walking cast or have to stay off his foot another month.
I don't think I took a picture, but am glad you have it. I didn't make the pin, I found it at a vendor on our "dyke" and when I saw it, I just thought it looked like the top of a tree and that became the theme. Feel free to take it apart and wear it if you want, I wanted you to be able to, but couldn't figure out how to allow it when I needed the extra thickness to hold it together.

Posted - Sep 27 2011 : 1:46:15 PM Hi :) Just received my mail art & it is GREAT ! Thank You Oggie :) I love the pin. Did you make it also ? I really like the photo too,of all those farm gals. They remind of pictures I seen of all the gals who took part in working the farms during WWII. Please, if you have a picture, could you post it so the others may see. I hate to say this but I still cannot get the pictures to post correctly. Either too huge or too small :( I have tried & I am afraid this computer has gotten the best of me :) LOL Thank You.

Posted - Sep 27 2011 : 1:02:03 PM Sharon,
I am so glad you liked the paperweight. It was fun to make. The purple apron on the left was to look as though it were blowing in the wind. Flapping on the clothesline to dry of course. LOL!
Also, I am really grateful it made it's way to you intact. Now that is awesome in itself. The postal clerks at my post office here in Muncie Indiana are the best. They are forever helping me to make sure I have my stuff secured.
Time to work on October mailart! Yea!!!!

And the sweet "Buzzn Bee" note card. Don't know how it was done but it is one of a kind and I really appreciate it. Simply lovely.

Emily,
Thank you soooo much for the beautiful handmade book you sent me, I will cherish it forever.
I love the little pockets and would love to learn to make a similar book one day :)
Thank you again, when I opened the (also very pretty) envelope and pulled out my mail art, I squealed with joy and happiness.
I hope you have a great week!
