We have done these in the past and usually give 3 months to for production. Anyone interested?
Each person who signs up will be randomly assigned a swap partner. You will embroider/make/embellish two pillowcases and mail them to your swap partner on or before the deadline- Lets say November 1st.
It's a pretty low stress swap and tons of fun. You can make your own pillowcases or purchase them. You can do your own design or use a store bought pattern. Whatever strikes your fancy :)

Donna... TOTALLY AWESOME... I loved your pillow cases.. So lovely and perfectly sewn. It just blew me away... thank you sooo.. much.. And I will definitely refer to your lovely gift when I make pillowcases in the future... It is definitely TOO Pretty to use... Just lovely.

Cynfullypurple,
Boy did I goof. When I was packing your pillowcases,
I noticed I forgot to add one of the flowers. So glad
I noticed it. I went to JoAnn Fabric store to pick up
some more purple floss only to find they were sold out.
The clerk said they are expecting a truck in on Saturday
morning. That truck will have on it the purple floss I
need. Hopefully if I can get the floss early enough, I can
finish and get in the mail by noon on Saturday. It is a very
tiny flower and should take about 5-10 minutes to embroider.
I am so sorry, but I am glad that I caught it before it went out
in the mail.
I still don't know how I missed it, but I did.
I will send you a tracking number when I take it to the P.O.
Take care and again I am sorry for the delay.

Please, Please, do not rush! I am in no hurry. Take your
time. If you are like me, it seems as though the Fall and
Winter time of year can really become hectic very quickly.
If you would like to wait until after the holidays, this is
fine with me. Just please don't rush yourself. I am okay with
whatever you would like to do.
I didn't make your cases, I just did the embroidery work.

I'm sure I'll love whatever you've sent I actually just picked out the material to start yours this afternoon on my way home from work. This is also my first attempt at making pillowcases, so I hope you like what I do as well I plan on working on them tomorrow since it's my day off. I might be a smidge late getting them out to you, but they will be on their way ASAP!

I also received wonderful pillowcases yesterday! Thank you so much, Diana. They will look beautiful with my pastel wedding ring quilt that I have on the bed. And, the chocolate was just what the doctor ordered. I haven't had the Cowgirl chocolate before. It's wonderful, too! Thanks again.

Love my new fall pillow cases and the little goodies the eye ball gum was my Granddaughters favorite she would like me to ask where you got it. Then we had a geography lesson on just how far it was to Texas and then why on earth would she send pillow cases and gum. It's a mystery she says but she sure can make a pillow case Samantha Jane 4 going on 40.

Kim, your beautiful package arrived a couple days after a very rough week, so it was nice to feel so special and I thank you.
I love my pillow cases they are wonderful and so fallish, soft and just perfect, when I look at them I will always think of you. The knitted scarves are beautiful too and soft, fabulous for our winter weather and will keep me very warm, thank you so much for them too. I will see if I can not get my hubby to take pictures this week:-)

So glad you like the pillowcases. I love crazy quilts too. Send a photo of your new quilt whenever you get it complete!!
I crocheted the lace to bundle the pillowcases together. Hopefully you can add it to your stash and find a good use for it. I figure an extra yard of lace is always a nice thing to have on hand.

Paula, A BIG THANKYOU for the beautiful pillow cases. You have used some of my absolute favorites!! brown and pink combined and crazy quilting style embroidery... They are going to look great on my bed. I am working on a quilt that they will go well with- need to finish that up! The lace it was all wrapped in is beautiful, did you make it?
