So I was thinking why not have a swap for our little four legged friends, our pals with paws who love us unconditionally! I thought we could make or buy little gifts for our furry friends ex. treats (baked or bought), embellished collars or bandanas, toys (home made or bought), etc…
If you wish to participate please let me know the following:
1. How many pets you wish to include? 2. What they are (cat, dog, etc)? 3. Male or Female? 4. Pet’s Name? 5. Pet's Size (small, med, large)? 6. Your favorite colors? 7. Your style? 8. How many pets you wish to swap with? 9. If you prefer to swap with a particular animal (cat only, dog only, etc)?
Signups will be open until May 27th, I’ll post partners May 28th and swaps should go out by June 18th.
I think this makes a puuurrrfect swap! Heehee!

I got the most wonderful box today from Diane...not only was there great treats for my chickens & cats but she had put in the beautiful hat she had made me....if none of you have seen her raffia hats you need to...they are beautiful & soooo farm girl!
Right now Baby kitten Monk is afraid of the hot pink feather toy she sent...lol....it's bigger than him but I know once he checks it out & it doesn't bite him he will enjoy playing with it.....the chicken treats will be a big hit as my kids love their treats!...again thank you dear hen....Michele'

My dear Diane, I am soooo sorry for some reason I thought I had done this with Diana, & yes you did everything right...you emailed me about the hat & somehow I forgot we were the 4 legged swap team...so please please forgive me for sticking my foot in my mouth....like you its been a h@ll of a month or so for me as well & I think I confused you..Diane with a Diana....so everyone please know that I am in the wrong here about the 4 legged swap & that this one, Diane keeps her word plus does beautiful hats to boot...xoxo humbly yours....Michele'

I am sorry about the misunderstanding. I e-mailed you a thank you. I have sent yours with your hat and I thought you understood that is what I was going to do. I feel really bad that your feelings are hurt. I think you will be OK, once you get your package. I have always made good on my swaps, but with the Western Trip and my DS's wedding and the gardening I got a little behind. I loved your package that you sent and the doggies did too! I also appreciate your patience for your hat. I three to do all at once and got overwhelmed after my trip and how much my garden had suffered. I do apologize deeply.

Oh ladies, how sad that the swaps were not what you hope or expected, I am so very sorry. I have had swaps too that did not go well for me but fortunately this one did. My biggest disappointments have been 2 of my Secret Sisters Swaps, but I love that swap it is my favorite so I keep doing it. The past two have certainly made up for the two that went wrong:-)
I swapped with Ginny and we were both so happy with each other and our swaps.
Did a personal on my own swap with Michele and she too was a wonderful swap partner, she made each of my doggies and doggie bed and sent treats and toys, of course Michele never fails to disappoint.
But, like you ladies I have decided to only do swaps with farmgirls I know who are in it 100%.

Michele...I am totally angry about this Swap myself. For me it is kinda about the $ I spent on this swap. I went all out but never got anything from my swap partner and even the Hostess of this Swap has not returned my latest email. I don't expect my swap partner on here to match me dollar for dollar...but to receive nothing...makes me upset. As you can see I have been a farmgirl for awhile and I have done many swaps...but none has gotten under my skin as bad as this one. I think it is the rudeness of NOT getting any response.
What a Four Legged FLOP this was.

has anyone heard from diane lately...i sent out her package & never heard back...since she had dogs & I don't I had to go out & buy things for her & am just wondering if I got blown off or that she didn't like the gifts for her dogs......or if she is sick....I am unhappy cause I did the dish drainer quilt & also haven't gotten anything from that as well...I am thinking I will have to quit doing this except for the ones i know & have had great trades/barters with......its not about the money or time but I get so excited to do these & when I do my part & the other doesn't I get sad over it like I am not worth the effort, yes I have been slow myself but I try to get the things out & request they don't send anything back....or I try to remember to email them.....anyway this hen is blue:(....Michele'

we got our box of goodies, Penny the dasshund is in heaven, she goes to the table looking for what else will come out of the box, loves teh pink soft bone toy, the kitties are chasing those feather chickens all over the living room ! thank you for the wonderful box of goodies, your box is ready for the post office |

I got the most amazing basket of goodies from Kate!!
She baked these delicious smelling dog biscuits for Sawyer.. Sweet & Savory! He barely even chews on them... he is determined to swallow them as fast as he can!!
She sent wonderful smelling bath wash with a scrubber mit... MY favorite (Sawyer just looks at me like... "oh no!!")
This really funny ball that has a mustache on the end of it.. still trying to get a picture of him with the ball in his mouth!! He keeps holding it by the mustache!!
Oh! and a rope bone that is surprisingly still intact!! Sawyer's toys don't tend to last very long!! (I can't imagine why??!!)

Ginny, I was able to get a couple of cute pics of the girls enjoying their raw hides.
So that is Holly the little one with the pink bows right in front, I can not believe she posed for me. Then Bella the black one, Heidi the red on the right then our Gracie girl in the middle of all the little ones.

My boys & girls goodies arrived today and they all LOVE the generous treats and toys! I've never seen croissants for bunnies!! Oggie thinks they are amazing! He will probably be sitting under the table every time we eat now for those treats! My cats were playing all night with the balls and while I haven't given them the catnip mice yet I have to say, those mice are darn cute! Even Mom got treats and I can't wait to try the Orange tea! But I have to say, I really loved the card Debbie! It's so on the mark as to what is going on in my life right now! Here's all the goodies they got in the mail today!

Hello Ginny, my 4 legged kids say thank you so much for all their treasures, they love everything and of course you sent all their favorites. They really loved the iced cookie lobster so cute and obviously delicious. The rawhides, tennis balls and surf's pup toy all so cute, Gracie (our Golden) will pose later with the goodies (minus the lobsters) as I can not get the doxies to sit still long enough for a picture to often.
Hopefully your kids goodies will arrive soon.

Man this looks like so much fun I'm just bumbed I cant be part of this,this time. Maybe if all goes well with this swap we can do one closer to Christmas and swap stocking stutters for our four legged friends or a Christmas ornament for them. you girls have fun I'll join the next swap. Kate, I will take any furry friend and folks with many or one, it's up to you. I have 12 girls (chickens) besides Oggie (and 2 cats but I didn't mention them). Sorry it took awhile to get back here. My sis in law fell, broke her ankle in three places. So now both she and my hubby are in "boots" so my brother in law and I have our hands full! Never a dull moment in life!

We'd be happy to have you here in Central Pa. We have a creek at the bottom of our farm property where we camp. Come on over!
We've decided to have a Cousin's Camp this summer and invite all the kids (2nds and 3rd cousins included) to come and play for a week at the barn. So many city kids need a good animal hug, lick, and even maybe a kiss and a peck. ;o)
