St. Patrick's Day is coming and let's brew some good Irish luck our way with a TEA SWAP! Yes, indeed! Signup if you are want to have some fun swapping tea bags in time for St. Patrick's day with our Farmgirl Sisters here. Pick a teabag or two that you would like to swap with another Farmgirl Sister. Please include an Irish blessing tucked along for good luck too!

Signups will run through Thursday, March 3rd and I'll post the matchup pairs on Saturday, March 5th.

PLEASE Try to mail your tea and Irish blessing as soon as possible after the paired postings are available so that it will arrive BEFORE or on St. Patrick's Day. It's been noted by Farmgirl Sisters that the USPS mail has been running slow. Mailing EARLY is best to allow time to arrive with good luck and cheer for your Farmgirl Sister swap partner.

Hi Heather B.
My tea was in my mail box when I got back to town. Thank you so much. I LOVE Celestial Seasonings tea. My Farm Girl chapter wants to take a road trip to their plant. The little teacup card was too cute. Did you get it at CS?
Did the package I sent to you arrive ?
Thanks again ,
Susan

Krystle ~ Thank you so much for the tea and the blarney breakfast break recipe.... It looks yummy! I fought temptation and didn't open your gift until yesterday. I thought that it had a great feel to open it on St. Pat's! Thank you again for a wonderful swap!!!

You're so welcome! I especially love Constant Comment. It's been a favorite of our family for years. I take a family-size tea bag of regular tea (we use Luzianne Decaf ) and one individual-size tea bag of Constant Comment and make a pitcher of tea. Done this way the cinnamon and spices are not overwhelming. It makes the most wonderful cinnamon tea! Enjoy!

I got my tea from Jeri (youngbunny) over a week ago, but then I got busy planning for spring break and going on spring break! Home now and about to enjoy a cup of the great tea selection she sent. She also wrote a nice note with a lovely Irish blessing. Yhanks Jeri for making my first swap a great one!

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S TO ONE AND ALL!

"Top of the morning to you, and the rest of the day to yourself!"

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks,
May your heart be as light as a song,
May each day bring you bright, happy hours,
That stay with you all the year long.

May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,

And here we are at the end of this rainbow......... we have arrived today to celebrate "ST. PATRICK'S DAY" and may the blessings of the day fill your heart and follow you from this day and throughout the year ahead and beyond.

This "LUCK OF THE IRISH TEA SWAP" officially comes to the end of its road today. May those still waiting not have to wait much longer. Hopefully our Farmgirls here now have some new teas to enjoy, some happy memories, some other special gifts, and also the loveliest gift of all. . . . a new friendship to cherish in our lives.

Until our paths may cross again on the road that lies ahead, may you see the rainbows that come after the storms and may the light always outshine the darkness.

Whereever you may go and whatever you may do, may the Luck of the IRISH be there with you.....

No problem Susan! I'm just glad everything is ok over on the other side of the hill. Keep me updated on my mail to you, if I need to send another please let me know. I mailed yours a week ago today. I mailed it with my daughters swap and her partner just recieved hers. For as much as the postal service charges you would think they would offer better service!

I have not heard from my partner, coloquilter, since we exchanged addresses. I hope she received my package. I mailed it out a week ago today. I have not seen anything in the mail......still waiting patiently.

Hi Heather,
I'm so sorry you have thought I was missing. I have been here all along :). I have not received your package but that does not surprise me. Mail in this area takes the long route, sometimes I think the pony express would have been faster. Your package is on it's way , but it did go out late, I had an idea that I wanted to find a package of shamrock seeds but never found any, hope you like the ones I sent, they are not Irish but I think they are pretty. Again I'm sorry if I caused you to worry.

Heather

Sorry to hear that you haven't had any communication with your Swap Partner nor confirmation of receipt the package that you sent. Have you tried emailing her directly via the Farmgirl Connection? She may have had some emergency arise or have taken ill.

We have been fortunate to have had many of our Farmgirls mail their swaps early. Sometimes, unfortunately, there are unexpected circumstances and reasons that this doesn't happen as we would wish for.

But rest assured, I'll be thinking of you on St. Patrick's Day and sending you good wishes, good luck, and good cheer across the miles from me to you!

In my mailbox today was my new MJF magazine and my tea from Debra! THANK YOU!! I've decided I am coming home from work tomorrow, making the tea and am going to sit down and enjoy it with my MJF! I love the tea holder you made too, very cute! Will use it a lot! Also LOVED the card, just what I needed up here in the North (as you know) to get ready for spring. BTW, I've never heard of this tea before so I'm excited to try it!
