While waiting for the last few packages to arrive for one of our swaps, we are finishing up a 5 x 7" fabric sampler for another swap we joined.

I was wondering if there was any interest in doing a spring themed mini sampler swap here? How about a 6 x 6" base and embelish with whatever vintage treasures we have on hand at home. Cutter quilt pieces, pillowcase pieces, vintage hankies, lace, buttons, ric rack, embroidery, fabric photos, fabric yo-yos, charms, etc. All can be the same or different. We would make one for each who sign up. Send them to us , along with return postage, and we will separate and return to you one from each fellow farmgirl.

Any interest? Let us know.

Have a good day!

Michelle and Ashley, Thanks so much for the mini sampler, It is so cute, I love the old timey picture and the cute fabrics. This was a fun swap. Still have not heard from buzznbee. Hope all is well with her. Farmgirl#946 Linda

I am going to pass on this one. I wouldn't mind one on one but I haven't done any sewing in years so really don't want to attempt more than one at a time and I have signed up for several other swaps and don't want to run out of time.

I might be interested too. I would like to see how many sign up and the details before completely saying yes...

Hello Flutters,
I will have to decline doing this swap. I don't think I could do more then one and if there is multiplies that will need to be made I will have to decline. I am still working on gifts for my swap partner in the different kind of swap that I need to complete and get sent out to her.

This is a great idea! Unfortunately I can't take on any more projects this Spring but I would be interested in a similar swap later in the year.

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

I think I'll pass on this one - too much going on right now, but hope to take part in another one later on. Thanks!

I would love to try this. But like the others I would love a smaller group. Three would be a perfect number for me, but I could try to do more.

I like the idea and agree with smaller groups. Maybe 3- 5? Can't see doing many of these. Depends on due date for me anyway.

I love the idea - in fact I'm participating in one elsewhere, but in that one someone collects all the names and assigns partners so each person only has to make one collage. That would interest me more, I believe. Ten is a lot of collages for me to make!

Thank you CJ. That is correct. We could take signups and see how many are interested and then break into groups of ten if needed . Let's see how many respond with an interest in the next couple of days.

Have a good day!

Michelle,

I'd like to do this . . . but I think the group(s) need to be small.
Say . . 10? For sure, no more than 12?

THANKS!
CJ

Betty Jo . . I think what Michelle is saying is that we'd make one for each person who signs up, send them all to her and she will separate them all so we each would get one from each person participating. So, if 10 sign up, we'd each make 10 and get back one from each person. Make sense? She's asking for us to include postage so she can send our "set" back to us.

Right Michelle??
