If you are interested we are starting sign ups for the secret sister round #9. Sign ups start today, Monday January 17 and runs through
Thursday, January 27.
This round #9 will start on February 5th and run through April 5th!
A little about MJF secret sisters: Everyone that signs up is randomly matched up with another secret sister. I will send you all the info you need on your new secret sister. During Feb 5 and April 5, you are to, on occasion, send to your secret sister a card, letter, or small gift! Don't use your own return address on your mailings as you might spoil the fun;instead use: Mary Janes Farm, 1000 Wild Iris Lane, Moscow, Idaho. You will, in turn, have a secret sister that will be sending to you! At the end of this round #9, please send your secret sister a reveal letter or gift, telling them who you are!
I have been running the secret sisters for about 3 years now, and it is most enjoyable! It is fun to go to your mailbox and find a gift or letter,it will make your day!
I have only 1 rule: please read carefully!!!!
Please, only sign up for the secret sisters if you intend to follow through with this for the two months listed! It is no fun to send things out to your secret sister and receive nothing from your own secret sister in return!

I recieved the cutest St. Pattys card two days ago from my SS! and a wonderful package last week as well. Im sorry sisters that I havent posted-I have been without computer or internet for about 3 weeks! I feel terrible to cause so much concern. I love all the thought going into the packages-so very perfect =D

Oh, Look at the Sweet Gifts From My Secret Sis that I got today! I am so excited! It must be
somebody who knows that I love tea and Chocolate and hand embroidery!!! Because they were spot
on in the things they sent me. It is so much Fun to go to the Mail-box and have fun mail for a

Thank you to my Secret Sister! I got your package today and I had such fun opening it. My dad had just as good as a time as I did. lol which was kinda funny. He always likes to see my packages. :)

alright ladies, its wed, feb 2, as of right now each of you has been emailed your secret sister for the current round #9. If you did not receive it, please email me at suefeely@gmail.com.
Also I will now add the place to post when you receive something from your secret sister! For this look to: farmgirl swap then to the subheading entitled "Gifts received from secret sister #9".
Remember that this round is for 02/05/11 through 04/05/11. Also remember to post any mailings received under the above heading. You may have to look to page 2 or even 3 under farmgirl swap under this really gets going but dont forget to post!

O K Ladies, just a little update, my MIL is finally home from the hospital after 5 days of being there. She is very weak and not used to walking yet as all she did was lay in bed in the hospital. We are trying to instill in her that she needs to call for one of us if she needs to go to the bathroom....
Enough about that, I have been working on this match up for the secret sisters round #9, we have a record number of ladies that have signed up for this round....drum roll please....we are at 36!!!
I have matched everyone up randomly with a secret sister and will begin sending that info to all of you, this will probably take me through Tuesday to get finished, maybe sooner if I can get some time?
Now one very important thing to remember is that whenever you receive a card, letter or gift etc. please post it under farmgirl swap, this is so very important; it lets everyone else know what you have received and more importantly it lets your secret sister know that you have received her mailing. Please, please dont make me chase you down to do this!! I, in the past, have had several women email me to email their sisters to see if they have received their mailings!
Again, there will be a heading under farmgirl swap entitled something like gifts received from 9th round of secret sisters!

I know having you there is a big help and glad that they are running all those tests and even more glad about when she might get to come home. I don't think anyone ever really rests at the hospital like they do at home.

Thanks ladies for your thoughts and prayers. When we took her into the hospital on Wed she was suffering from anemia, difficulty breathing, swollen legs (they said she had about 25 pounds of excess water), congestive heart failure, severe back pain, and weakness! She is being made all better but due to the sudden anemia they found that she has 2 bleeding ulcers! We think all testing has been done and we are hoping that she may go home tomorrow! But we have to see what the doctors say! She has been seen by several types of doctors!
Anyway, I was able to use my laptop at the hospital today so I am starting to get things together. The most women we have had in the secret sister thing at one time was 30, I have not yet made the final count but this round may top that or will be close!
I will send these out to everyone asap as the swap starts on February 5th.

I'll be including prayers, Sue, for your mother-in-law and for your time with her in the hospital. I know hospitals are not easy places to work on things at all. So I'll be praying for you too and rest.
