Well, Let's make one......Let's decorate a box. It can be a cigar box, wooden cigar box, wooden box, paper bag colored box with a removable lid that you find at Hobby Lobby, etc.. It can be no smaller than 5 inches by 7 inches.....Paint or cover it with pretty Valentine paper, make it as creatively beautiful as you can, remembering the idea of the title, baubles, buttons, ribbons, will be wonderful! Even add some trim around the sides of your box.

Now, girls, this is a swap that you can not begin the night before the due date.....Put some tho't into it and let's make someone's day when they receive their box. Include a little something inside for an added surprise.

Signup ends January 20th and Mail out by January 31st.

You can never be to kind!

Ginny - I'm so glad you liked everything!
Thank you so much for the box that you sent me - it's so cute! I love all of the vintage valentine's and the ones you reproduced for me to use. The candies were yummy and the peppermint tea was very good - I can't wait to taste the others! That is so cool that you make your own tea - that's something I'd like to try some day. The cupcake towel is very cute too!
Thanks for making it for me! And I hope spring comes to you soon - you have a tremendous amount of snow and it looks like it will take a while to melt
Thanks again!

OMG! I received the most beautiful Valentine Box today in the mail from Cindy (cgonyer)! THANK YOU CINDY!!! It is the "Book of Love" and it is beyond my wildest expectations! Cindy, you put so much time into this and I don't care what you think, it's beautiful!! It is paper mache with wooden letters on the front! Fabulous!

I then open it and it's filled to the binding! She thought of everything! She also made, not one, not two, but three beautiful hearts! The flat one has the cutest felt flower on it. Who would have thought to do that?? And the paper mache one will be going on my Christmas tree for sure! The sparkly "love" one is already hanging on the handle of my china cabinet! There are adorable cards to use, or better yet, put with my Valentine collection as they will fit right in. The fabric pieces are much appreciated since I can't buy anything like it near me. The note paper, post its, & candy will be loving used or eaten! It's overwhelming to me, greatly appreciated, and really lifted my spirits! Thank you - Thank you - Thank you! And you did all of this while you had a sick child!

I told my husband if I can receive something this wonderful from someone I have never met, the least he could do was put "some" effort into the day for me! I am almost in tears of joy it is so thoughtful! Here's some pics everyone.

Thankyou Robin for posting picture, I had to get a new printer and have I guess mastered the scanning part but not my memory card! Not a creature of new items! I enjoyed our day at the coffee shop it was great t finally meet. When you plan a day down in Danvers let me maybe we can get together again. I have filled the box you gave me with all the valentines I have received as I said when I get the memory card to work I will post the pics.

Michelle sent me the most beautiful box loaded with goodies. It was very Victorian and I just loved it. I am not good at putting the photos in so I am sorry that I can not share one with the group. Thank you so much Michelle for being my partner.

Anna, I think it is fun to see the difference in how we interpret an idea. Mine was more of the old timey drug store, school box with the typical red and pink...and yours was more elegant in cream and gold. Both were done with care and thought, so to me that is what makes it all good. It was fun to do for you and hope you can enjoy it during this cold month!!! Have fun and take care!! Beth

Beth, you put alot of work into this box - I appreciate your efforts! Isn't it amazing how different our tastes are? Hope I didn't disappoint you with my creation. I'm working on PhotoBucket - pictures are priceless. Thank you for organizing this swap. Take care!

Here is the Valentine Box I received from moonshines: Homemade card is a keeper-very sweet; embroidered white handkerchief; tiny old tin. A really cute embroidered dish towel. That will be for decorating..not use. The box was customized with my initials..I feel so special. DGD helped me put the pics on here..so I don't need a new program after all! Yippee skippee!

Today I received my Valentine box from Moonshine. A cigar box so prettily decorated, and filled with cool treats. Thank you, Valentine partner! :) I took pics, and will post as soon as I figure out how to do that.

Delicia~

Thank you so much for the wonderful package that arrived yesterday! You did a wonderful job decorating the box, and I love that it is a photo storage box! I love the vintage decorations, and all the other treasures you included were just perfect! I had been in need of a small heart punch too, how did you know? Didn't include the recyclable bag in the picture, but it is just my style, and will be well used.

Thank you, Delicia, for all the love you put into this~ It really is perfect!

Isn't Ninibini the BEST! I love my Valentine Box!! The pictures she posted just doesn't do it justice! It's beautiful and was filled with the sweetest surprise of candy, cupcake papers, sprinkles, icing, etc. She also included a recipe for an Italian Love Cake that I can't wait to try!

Thanks again Nini! You're too special!

Michelle, stay safe and I so hope you like your pkg... Do not frett I would rather you stay in than worrying about sending to me. I sure hope your pkg is there because I hate for you to have to venture back out. We are having a lot of wind but, only flurries and really cold, it rained all day yesterday but, at least it was not the expected ice storm...
