Yes girls, it's that time again to start thinking ahead to one of my all time favorite swaps, making valentines and getting valentines! This is our 5th year, hard to believe but I'm SO happy I started this, my homemade cards are such a treasure! I know it's not even Christmas yet, but with a yearly average of about 30 girls, it takes some time to make all those pretty cards, so I thought it was best to get the signups going. I usually devote the month of Jan. to making my cards, it sure does warm such a cold month! So, if you'd like to join in just sign up here, I'll ask for your info later on in updates. You have till Jan. 1 to sign up and we will probably being mailing by Feb. 1. Hope to see you oldies make it a 5th time and let's see some newbies too!

Thanks for sharing those photos, Michelle. It is so fun to see how the Valentines are cherished and displayed.
I left on Feb 4 for a 10 day trip and when I arrived home, a big pile of Valentines awaited me! It was the greatest homecoming ever!
Nini,when I went grocery shopping yesterday, I purchased a few of the ingredients I needed to make the Italian love cake recipe you included. My husband is out of town and I plan to make it for his homecoming on Saturday. He is a true chocoholic, so we'll see how this works for him.
And Rejena, my 9 yr old,homeschooled daughter,Mia,read your letter out loud to me. She is writing a letter to Sydnee tomorrow, so tell Sydnee there is a little girl in Idaho who would love a penpal if she is willing...
Thankyou to all of you wonderful farmgirls. I love each and every one of my Valentines. Each one is as different and as special as each of you ladies!

Thank you all for making Valentine's Day extra special again this year! So fun to go to the mail box and receive such great surprises each day. So much went into making these Valentine's, it was an honor to receive each one~

Ladies, many of you sent Valentines to me even after I had to pull out from the swap!! My daughter told me I have quite a few at her house waiting for me when I go there next month!! Had to rearrange my travel plans and things got crazy with where I might be address-wise so thought it may be best to just pull myself out of swap this year. Anyway, my DD made Valentines with what limited craft supplies she had and sent them out, on my behalf, to the addresses of those that sent to me!! She has more 'farmgirl spirit' in her than she even realizes, LOL!!! Cant wait to see what was sent to me, when I go and visit next month!! Thank you soooo much ladies for everything!! Love MJF and the joy that farmgirl spirit brings!! Again, my sincere apologies that may have made this sooo confusing! Blessings to you all!! Linda

I so love the beautiful Valentines I have received. After I charge up my camera I will get a pic of how I have mine displayed. It brings me so much joy and all that visit me. Thank each and everyone of you !! Farmgirls do it with style,elegence and a whole lotta creativity !!

So, is there any chance we could do something similar again THIS YEAR? Another holiday or even a mid-year Pick Me Up? We so enjoyed the sending and receiving of these sweet gifts. Please, let us know if we can. I'd be willing to help if needed, but NOT RUN something alone...too new to know how to do that.

Girls - thank you for all of the lovely Valentines - my home is so cheerfully decorated with all the love they arrived with! You are all so creative and talented! I "ooo'd' and "aaah'd" with the opening of each envelope! What wonderful treasures! I missed the postman again this morning, but will bring them to the Post Office after homeschool. A warm thank you to all of the creative Farm Gals out there... such great art and great fun too! I placde all of the beautiful cards on the dining room table for all to admire,and they are indeed geting admired, but it really doesnt do them justice.
How about if everyone shows/tells of creative ways to display them. Next year I want to be prepared to show them off i nstyle.
