Hello Farmgirls,
I have been thinking about doing this and how to do this for a while. If there is an interest to do this monthly we can and pick a different topic cook book each month. We will sign up once a month and we will always use the same dates. Easy to remember.
Sign up November 23 Partner Posting November 24 Mailout Dec 8
This month will be Cookie Cookbook if it has cookie recipes in half of it....it counts!! Most farmgirls will be baking lots of cookies this time of year.
There is no crafting involved, no colors to worry about, you just walk over to your cookbook pile and find some sad looking not used enough cookbook and send it to your partner.
Hints for mailing. If you just send the cook book (with a note INSIDE of the cookbook) you can use MEDIA MAIL. Very cost effective way to mail it. If you include goodies in your package and you use a sturdy envelope remember its a PARCEL not an envelope. The post office will send it the their postal hole....
If anyone can think of anything else we need to include let me know. So you can start thinking about the next one....we will do Church Cookbooks. But only sign up for COOKIE COOKBOOK now!

Deb - Thank you so much for the wonderful Taste of Home Cookbook. The first page I opened to was a recipe for peanut butter pie, one of my favorites! I'll have lots of fun with this one! Thanks again!

Deb - You are very welcome! As you can tell, that cookbook has been used. When I was preparing to send it, I noticed some of the back pages were kind of stuck together

Oh! My! thank you Betsy for the wonderful cookbook...love it..cann't wait to start cooking..which it will be next week. Got a busy week-end.

Debra - No problem. I probably won't start my cookie baking marathon for a couple weeks yet. My husband did ask last night when I was going to start baking cookies -- he's ready!!

I don't have any cookie cookbooks. I mean I have cookbooks with cookie recipes in them but none that I would part with. I gave my daughters the ones I haven't used but that they wanted. Sounds fun. Hope you can get some signed up. Maybe a favorite cookie recipe swap?
