BUT I want this to be A Stuffed Goody Sock For Christmas The Stocking does not have to be home-made it can be store bought,nor do the gifts inside have to be home-made but they can be. Or they can be a mixture of both made and bought. I will leave that up to each individual. Let's put a $20.00 Limit on it...Not including postage. Let's do sign-ups through October 31st, I will Post Partner Names on this page on Nov.1st and We will Mail-Out any time before Nov. 20th. melody	Posted - Dec 17 2010 : 10:05:02 PM Nini...what a sweetie you are! No I don't usually list my felted soap on my etsy site, but take them with me to our juried art fests during the summer. They are kinda cute aren't they? I actually dye the little blue stripes with Kool-Aid! The soap I use are the "ends" from our handcrafted soap. We use wooden molds and the ends get a little "wonky." I cut these in half and felt them. Which reminds me I need to get some wool roving so I can make some more! P.S. The little sheep in the photo are made by my husbands cousin...Aren't they sweet? I actually purchased a whole bunch of those felted soaps from our Farmgirl Sister Melody (#525), and everyone to whom I have given them is just in love with them! She has a blog: www.bythebayhandcraftedsoap.blogspot.com and an etsy store: www.lemonverbena.etsy.com, but if you can't find her through those sites, I'm sure she'd welcome hearing from you directly via email! She's wonderful - and so are her products! I honestly can't remember for the life of me what she charges for them, but they are very, very reasonable, and make the perfect stocking stuffers or little "tuck-ins" for gift baskets! I'm sure she could put you in the right direction! :) Oh - and Peg... Honestly, no, I'm no Christmas angel... I'm just your Farmgirl Sister... And I love so being... If you bought it how much did it cost? Just I would make some for my craft table nest year to sell. Great idea's . And I, like you, have VERY fond memories of ribbon candy when I was a child (My aunt always had some in a beautiful footed glass candy jar on her end table in the parlor! The velvet & lace stocking with the attached glittery star ornament are soo vintage - I love old things soo much. I hung them together like you sent them on a buffet where I have other vintage & glitter displayed. Oh, I should post a pic - thank you for this delight. khartquilt	Posted - Dec 09 2010 : 05:56:59 AM Heather, I am glad you like your stocking. I am looking it over again because I forgot what I had filled it with. I am terrible that way. Once it is wrapped, I tend to forget what it was. I hope you have many years of use from it. I would not have known you did not make the stocking you sent me. I was checking out the cuff trying to figure what size double needles it took to make the pintucks. I put a note on my sewing room wall to try it after the holiday or when I had some free time. My husband does not favor mint, so lucky me, the kisses are all mine!! I just put them in a bowl on the end table. I have one or two as a special treat while I watch TV. I also wanted to let you know that I truly, truly, over the top, love the pig ornament. It is perfect! I just love my pigs. If that was the only item you had sent, I would still be totally thrilled. That piggy will be displayed all year round. I just love it! Well, I would like to wish you and your family the Happiest of Christmases and a most wonderful New Year. hwright95	Posted - Dec 08 2010 : 7:23:58 PM Kathy, I got my stocking today, OH wow! it is just wonderful, I am amazed at your talent, You and Julie above have just blown me away with your sewing abilities (she sent me an apron in the 3 item swap), I did sew the Jingle bell Trim on yours, but that is about the extent of my sewing ablility. You both inspire me! I love all the other goodies too, they were all gift wrapped so pretty, I took a picture, but not before my 3 daughters pilfered some candy lol. I'll post a picture for everyone too see asap. They were filled with a delightful array of treasures, apple cider body wash, holiday kleenixs, vintage fat quarters, a beautiful silver bell, a vintage decorated bottle, buttons, vintage lace and trim, a heart made out of a vintage quilt, oh know I am just forgetting something, but everything was so wonderful Anna and I love each and every piece.
