I got this wonderful scarf from Cindylous today. It is so soft and I love the color and pattern. You did a good job Cindy. I would love it if you would post the pattern instructions, or email them to me.

Kris, I received my scarf today and it is beautiful!!!!! sooooo soft and it will look great with my jacket. I can't wait until it gets cold so I can wear it, (I'm sure I'm gonna eat those words) today it was almost 60! However this week it is going to drop into the 40's But that's what New England is all about.

p.s. I can't wait to try the soap too.

Liz, I got the scarf today! I love it. It will surely keep me warm. It's so pretty. It's a pretty green and white striped scarf. Thank you so much. Is that knitted? I want to learn to knit so bad. I did have a lady show me years ago but I have forgotten now. Anyway, I love the scarf and thank you. I will think of you when I wear it.

Kris, I had a semi-senior moment. I put the scarf in the mail before I read your post. I don't know why I said I'd take a picture of it.

Liz, I was just going to come on and tell you that yours will be in the mail Friday. So we should both get them about the same time. Can you take a picture of it? I can't figure out how yet or it just doesn't work. Thanks! I can't wait to see it.

Luanne, I emailed you before I saw this post. Once you save your pictures to your computer (easiest way is to insert your camera memory card into your laptop or computer, then save as "My Pictures"), you simply click on the icon all the way to right of the "reply to topic" button here, click on "choose", select "my pictures", click on the picture, then download. It's so easy. Dianne

Thanks for posting the pics, Dianne! I still haven't been able to do it, but will keep trying. I'm so glad you are enjoying your scarf. I wore mine this week with my black leather jacket and got SO MANY compliments!

Hope we can get together soon.

Hugs,
Luanne

Here's the lovely, soft scarf Luanne in PA knitted for me (I wear it every day!), and the one I sewed and embellished for her. Dianne in the Hudson Valley

I received my beautiful scarf from Fiddlehead Farm today. It is a very, very soft grey alpaca in a great crochet pattern that will be sooooo warm plus a hat too! The stitching is wonderful--Here is a picture

Luanne, I am so glad you like it! It is different b/c it's sewn and not knitted or crocheted but I had fun making it. I did take pictures (and I'll take one of the scarf you knitted for me) and try to post them. Hope to meet up with you soon! I'll email you separately. Dianne

Hi Dianne -

I just received your scarf in the mail - it is gorgeous! I don't know how to do the picture thing, or I would post one here for everyone to see. I don't sew, so just love something hand-sewn.

It is a tweed fabric, lined, and then fabric flowers sewn on the ends - wow!

This was such a fun swap - I'm really looking forward to doing other swaps.

Hugs,
Luanne

I just opened the most exquisite knitted scarf from Luanne (beekeepersgirl). The colors are subtle fall tones that just melt into one another and the yarn is the softest, coziest yarn I've ever felt. I'm going to wear it to church this morning and photograph (and attempt to post) it later today. Thank you, Luanne (check your email!). Dianne in the Hudson Valley

hi, is there anyone that didn't get a partner or someone else that would like to participate? I have a surplus of crocheted items and quite a few scarves. If anyone would like another exchange, just email me and i would love to participate.
