You know the ones Im talking about, where you just glue the round magnet onto a vintage button from the old button jar? I have two gallon jars full of cute old buttons that I am dying to share. Who is game to do a swap? Lets say three button magnets per swap! Dont forget that box of clip on earrings when you have pierced..those make excellent magnets too!
Mail them to me and I will distribute,
deadline for signup is August 1st mailing deadline is August 5th. (because really how long does it take to glue buttons on a round magnet??)
**we are just mailing 3 button magnets to me total. I will then distribute. We are not mailing three button magnets to each participant. I hope this clarifies things, if not, email me.

Okay Girls, Im getting there, I sent off the first batch of the swap, 6 envelopes, and I am doing the rest tomorrow. We made such pretty magnets, and I have also enclosed a card stating who sent them to you. I just did a random swap without even looking first. Have fun!

Just want to tell you I received the magnets (From Michelle) today with many many thanks. Sorry you have to resend it. Usually I don't have any problems with mail but once in awhile mail doesn't reach me.
Michelle the magnets are very lovely and will take pictures soon. I want to take it today but I caught a flu and little bit medicated at this moment.

Everyone should have received their magnets by now. Everyone who sent magnets to me was sent a package. If you have NOT received magnets send me an email. *****
Also, thank you so much for all of you who sent SASE envelopes, and for those who sent me little extras. That was very kind and very unexpected. I have gotten feedback that some people thought that this swap was complicated. I was trying to make it easy and prevent anyone from getting stiffed. (that happens sometimes even when we have the best intentions.) I have personally been stiffed in literally 2/3 swaps I have been in, and admittedly I have taken on more than I could do sometimes and not held up my end of swaps in a way that I would be proud of.
I am going to be leaving the forum so I am trying to tie up any loose ends before I do. It has been a pleasure getting to know everyone and I appreciate all your creativity and friendship. Life is taking me down a different path. Best Wishes to all, and please do let me know if there is anything else I have agreed to do that I havent done.

Hey Sharon, I am a little slow on the uptake here, but I just relized you got my button magnets and I got yours. Just writing to tell you, I showed them to my sister and daughter today and they just raved about them! Keep your hands off, dear ones, these are from my farm sister! LOL

Kris, They were from you - how sweet and funny that is! I did find the little note that Sarah put in with them - I was using it to mark a recipe in a book!! They do look like the ones Michele made, but had the card stock behind them. Next time I'll use my imagination - I just didn't think outside the "button jar"!
But, I did make them with love!

Thank you, thank you! I received my magnets today. I am not quite sure who they are from, I think it says "The Demus"? They are so cute! Fabric yo-yos that co-ordinate with the buttons. We just got back from vacation, and going through the PILE of mail (bills and junk) what a great surprise to find the treasured envelope! I took the same route as Nettie, we just put buttons on magnets! I will be more creative next time (now look at all the ideas!)

I received my magnets today. Thank you so much Melanie P. You were so creative. I just stuck a magnet on a button. I hope we do this again as I will get way more creative next time. Mine from Melanie were all done up with fabric yo yo's and buttons and ribbons. They are already on my fridge holding up papers and appts. thanks again Melanie.

I received my cute button flower magnets today - I can't find the piece of paper that was in with them -  ,
the magnets look like pretty little flowers, w/buttons glued onto paper cut like flowers. little buttons around the edges, big one for the center and then a little one on top of that!
Really cute and they look great on my fridge!

Sarah, that's so funny about the magnets going across the table. Not so much your fingers being stuck together though. Ouch! Thanks so much for doing this swap. I hope your family problems get all straightened out soon. Family sure can be alot of trouble sometimes. But ya gotta love 'em. I think.
