The much waited and anticipated round #7 of MJF secret sisters has arrived! The sign ups are here in the farmgirl swap section and start today 07/07 and will last through 07/13!
The actual swap will begin on 07/20 (to give me some time to match you up and send out e-mails) and will last until 09/20. Thats two whole months of gift/cards/note giving!
[i]Most important for the secret sisters sign ups is: Make sure you can follow thru with this, it is not necessary to always send gifts, but something every 2 weeks or so, a note or a card will also do. We don't want anybody to be left behind on this so please only sign up if you really want a secret sister for 2 months![/i]
Hows does this work:
shortly after sign ups end on 07/13 you will receive your secret sister vua e-mail from me (Sue Feely) These are randomly picked, I assign everyone a number then pick a number for you and send you the info on your secret sister!
Every 2 weeks or so, send your secret sis something ie note, card or small gift. when i send you your secret sister it will give you some ideas on what she collects, favorite colors etc, so you will have some ideas!
At the end, after 09/20, you will reveal yourselves to your secret sister via e-mail or another card, note or inside a gift!
OK this is what I need for you to sign up:
1. real name
2. farmgirl name
3. full mailing address
4. ideas for your secret sister ie: favorite colors, what you like to collect, coffee or tea and anything else you may want to add.
Please be sure to include all of the above, sometimes it is hard to track some of the farmgirls to retrieve the info that is missing!
Also please remember to only sign up if you intend to stick with this! I hate to keep bringing this up but this does happen and I don't want anyone to feel left out! |

Dear April, You have been a wonderful Secret Sister - you are so thoughtful and talented! I received your reveal package today, wow - it was so much fun opening it and reading the 1st note and read me last notes. I loved everything in it - the towel is just the cutest Scotty dog ever and you did it which really makes it special! Love the knitted dish cloth - bright, just like I like it. The red handled egg beater - that is the one item I have wanted and didn't have, how did you know??? I love Mary Engelbreit "stuff", the cards are too cute and the book too! Love the socks - have never seen them before, I will enjoy wearing them - And the doggie cookie cutters, that is something else I collect, and didn't have those! I make dog biscuits, especially for Christmas gifts for our friends with doggies, can't wait to use them. The little "glitter" Scotty is so cute - will put it to good use - thinking, thinking, thinking!
The cards you have made are so very special to me, I know they came from your heart.
Thanks for being a wonderful Secret Sister - lets keep in touch with each other. I love the photo of you in your apron - pretty girl you are! Really enjoyed your letter, now I feel like I know you and your lovely family.

i received a wonderful package from my ss yesterday, thank you Calico!! You were a wonderful SS even if you felt like life distracted you with piles of peaches! :) (yum!) The scarf is lovely and will be much used and loved!

Thank you SS, I want to keep you forever! I received my box of goodies today, I love, love, love Lavender Bath Salts, and I was running low, how did you know? You sent the perfect gift and the sleep mask as well I will use them both and think of you. Gracie, Heidi, Bella and Holly love their Auntie SS as well and say thank you for the little toys, they love them and all in their fav colors:-) So happy you are my SS you are so thoughtful and talented as well. Thank you again from the bottom of my little farmgirl heart.

I just want to say I really loved the card, star ornament which was sent as an introduction from my Secret Sister. I then recieved a great wrought iron tea lite holder and I just love it. You stated it with the card, Let the Fun Begin! The SS events are sooo much fun!! Once again, Thank you for the sweet gifts.

To my Secret Sister I thank you from the bottom of my heart, my little dish towels are so cute and sweet, just too pretty to use so they will be displayed in my kitchen. I truly loved them and your nice letter. We wish to thank your husband as well for his service and hope you both are enjoying your lives outside of the military as much as we do. But we do miss our military family. I had been gone for 4 days helping our son move so to come home to a full mail box of love from my farmgirl sisters was a blessing. Gifts, cards and letters it is great to be loved!

I got the most wonderful hand-made doilly (sp?) from my Secret Sister today! I absolutely love it! Thank you so much. You are so very thoughtful. The card is great too  It is so nice to get notes saying that folks are thinking about me...it makes me feel special.

To my Secret Sister, thank you for the card & the adorable Owl box!!! It made my day. I had to attend my aunt's funeral today & it was a wonderful bright spot it an otherwise sad day. Thanks again!!

Okay, I'm so excited and I can hardly wait to get started! I have one question...when sending mail, what address do we put for a return? Especially on packages? Do we put our own address without our name or will that give it away?!
