Hey Girls, Let's make another Christmas Ornament...You know me. I love ornaments!!!!
Let's make an ANGEL WING ORNAMENT!
It can be any medium: felt, quilted, sewn, wooden, etc.
Let's make the dimensions no more than 5" long and 4" wide.
Think of pictures or figurines of angels you have seen and base your ornament on those. Use those wonderful imaginations!!!
What a precious reminder of Christmas and our farmgirl friends.
This is a ONE time craft with partners posted on June 19th.
Sign up ends June 18th and mail out by June 30th.

You are most welcome. I had fun with that one. And I am glad you like it, didn't expect you to get it so soon.
Yes the heart button was still on the ornament. Cute touch, I like heart shaped anything. I hung my wing up too and still very much enjoying it. Wonderfully done Peggy.
Pomegranate is one of my favorite taste/smell and you usually see them in the stores around Christmas. Thought it was appropriate. Couldn't pass them up when I saw them.

 WOW! Linda, you out did yourself girlfriend with my Angel Wings!
I am so very thrilled with what you made for me. I will try to post a picture soon so everyone can see how beautifully your crafted them!
They are made from a white crocheted doily, stiffened hard with sugar water or starch and then sprinkled with silver glitter and a beautiful little floral white ribbon threads in between each wing. Then she used Thread and a silver stars and beads for it to hang from and hanging off the bottom of the wings. It is just breathtakingly beautiful.
I asked for silver, white or gold so I could have them hanging up year round...so thank you, thank you I will enjoy them everyday and think of you! Also thanks for the Pomegranate Sachet...one of my favorite fruit, fruit drink and scents.
You made me week...thanks for blessing me so much!

Hey Linda...glad that you liked it. Did the little wooden heart remain secure on the bow? I always worry
about things popping off in the mail. I really tried to glue it down well...but you just never know.
I also love the quote you post from Picasso! Now if only Art would dust my house as well as it does
my soul...everything would be PERFECT! LOL

Hi Peggy,
My wing flew in on Saturday. It is really nice! Red and white printed paper decorated with red embellishements and green rhinestones. Green ribbon with a bow. I am not doing it justice but don't have a photo. Peggy is a paper artist, I never seem it get it right with paper but she did a great job! Thank you, thank you Peggy. I have yours done so now it is to find a day to get to the post office.

I haven't decided yet - because of the CFIDS, I never really know how much energy I'm going to have on any given day/week/etc. So I have to be very careful about overcommitting myself (which is really hard, because I want to do everything!), because otherwise I end up not being able to do what I said I was going to do, and then someone else is disappointed, and I feel really bad about it. So..I'll let you know closer to the deadline, I promise! I'm hoping I'll be able to do this one, but..I'll have to see what else is going on in mid-June (or if I manage to find time to make a wing before that, then I'll go ahead and sign up - once I have it in my hot little hands, it's no longer a future committment of time/energy I may not have, so it's not a problem..
It sounds really neat, though - I wish I could get my friend to check out the forums - she loves angels and she'd probably love this swap. I'll have to mention it to her.
