Let's make a Cupcake, a Pin Cushion decorated like a CUPCAKE!!!!
IF YOU did NOT receive a pincushion from your partner let me know and you will be sure to get one. After this week we will consider this swap closed and ended :( but there will be more to follow!! :) Smiles, BEth
Your imagination can make it any "Flavor", with "Frosting and Decorations" to suit your fancy!
It can be felt, regular fabric, or vintage fabric.
Let's have them about the same size as a normal cupcake!
(A little hint, the bottom can be a piece of felt rolled up tightly)
Sign up ends May 1st--------Cupcakes can be mailed out June 1st
Partners will be posted May 2nd!!

Cassie, I received your cupcake pincushion, it is great, I love yo yo's and so it is perfect. Great job! Did you receive the one I mailed you? I also e-mailed you. Also the stickers of the old fashioned ladies, and the little purse personal note was so sweet. Thanks, for your kind words and prayers. Its already on my sewing table ready for use.

Dear Girls, It has been such fun reading and viewing the photos of the pinchushion swap!! It was a fun swap to host and participate in. I hope everyone has had a great time and most of all fun!! Mine will be sent out by Wednesday. I was trying to get it out by today, but my oldest daughter caught the fever mess I was telling you about before, & then a friend got us two bushels of sweet corn (@ $2.50 a bushel!)to put up unexpectedly...we are doing all that this evening together. I should have more time to finish up yours tomorrow night. Hope you like "chocolate"!

Cassie Jean, I was not originally in this swap, just happened to read thru this today, if you have not heard from another that will swap, I would love to do this with you. I don't have one made but am willing to start on one. Let me know, also e-mail me your address. My very first swap, the other girl had to drop out and it left me with no one also, it is disappointing, but I have done others and had great success, don't let this discourage you. They are fun. I would love to do this with you. |

Barnagainkristin, I just checked the forum. I, too, have not been online. I am so sorry about the tragedy. I will pray for you and your family and the family involved. I have a friend at work who just lost her fiance in a tragic accident and we have all been concerned with her well being. Her name is Heidi. Please keep her in your prayers if you will. Dianne

I might put a cardboard base on the next one I make, like you did! And I loved how it came in a recycled nut can, a perfect fit for the cupcake and the adorable cards and gift tags that came with it!!
I hope the one I made you was not too plain. I thought the wool looked better " as is" but maybe I will go ahead and try beads next time, like you did!

I'm Stephanie's mom. She did receive her cupcake and it is SOOOO cute.
She is very busy (probably not as busy as a homeschooling mom of 4) but that is NO excuse for not keeping you posted. She should have your cupcake out soon.

Not as of yet, but I'm fine waiting. It took awhile to make contact at first also, so she may just be very busy! As a homeschool mommy of 4, I know how that is...I just got excited & made mine up pretty fast! (At night after the bebes were a sleepin'...) Thank you for being so sweet to offer, though!

Thank you so much for the darling cupcake pincushion. We had a fatal accident occur to someone who is extremly close to our family and I haven't been online for quite a while. Sorry you had to wait to hear back from me. Just a reminder to other farmgirls to be patient since you never know what is going on in someone's life. Sorry!

Still haven't heard if Stephanie received hers..I know she said she gets loads of email...but if you're out there, just checking to see if my cupcake made it okay! Haven't received anything yet, either, but this is my first swap so I don't know how long it normally takes.
