I am jumping in to do this swap... it will be my first to organize.

****UPDATED 21 March 2010 While I think requesting personal colors and theme is neat idea but after thinking about it, I have come to these thoughts. It adds stress for some to go hunting for specific color and turning that into a chore for some. Also, we would have to wait till May 1st to see who our partner is and see what their likes are, instead of going ahead now to make them up ahead of time to be ready for due date. I hope that all of you understand my way of thinking and not be offended, if I don't make that a rule. I will leave the preferences up, in case some wish to do it that way.

I received your package today and was so blessed! Your kitchen angel is just darling with the buttons sewn on BUT the other angel you sent I just love. I have her hanging over my bed and of course her name is Kathy!
Thank you so much for it...I sent yours to karianne to send on to you..
I was really having sort of a "bummed" day and you just made it so special.

Thank you Diana for the lovely angel! And thank you for sending me the extra dishcloths, they will be put to good use! I hung her in my craft room, odd place, but I want to be able to see her daily. I thought the little scrubber that I attached to yours looked like a little pocketbook. Anyway, thanks for swapping, this was fun.

Michelle, your angel came yesterday and I love her and the verse you attached. So sorry I can't post picture right now. Soon I will figure out my digital camera. The last time I took pictures, only one showed up, but I have figured out how to move them to the computer, so I WILL figure this out sometime soon. I see you had the same problem I had, finding a potholder that matched. How clever to make one from another towel and I liked the way you fastened the skirt folds together with buttons and the nice hanger to hang her up with. In other words, you're so talented and I just love her!

Oleta - if you're all thumbs, it certainly doesn't show! The angel you made Michelle is beautiful! She reminds me of pictures of the Virgin Mary I've seen.
And I hear you about the mail art - I was feeling really intimidated by all the gorgeous scrapbooky stuff people were posting pictures of, and I finally had to take a deep breath and tell myself "Do what you know." So I quit trying to figure out how to do gorgeous scrapbooky stuff, and I made a picture of a Black-eyed Susan-esque flower (because it's the state flower of Maryland, plus it's a really easy shape ;-) ) using pieces of felt that I cut freehand and glued to the card. It's not exactly symmetrical, but there you go. It's like playing on a felt board. :-) I'm sure there is something artsy and reasonably 2-dimensional that you're great at - it just might not be the same thing as everybody else. Take a deep breath, and remember to "Do what you know." You'll be fine :-)
