I do a lot of reading and sometimes have a couple of books going at the same time. I really do not like to dog ear a page.
So I thought maybe some other people have this issue?
How about a homemade bookmark swap. I figured there are many ways to make a fun bookmark.
If anyone is interested please let me know here, if there is some interest, I will post deadlines and rules. If not, we will forget about it;)

[size=6][/size=6][purple]So there seems to be some interest...so sign-ups will be until Feb.28th and the mail by date is March 13th. The only rule is his has to be handmade. I will post partners on March 1st and then you can contact your partner for address info. This should be fun!

I've been out of town and although I sent an e-mail to my swap partner I hadn't had a chance to post yet! I received a lovely ribbon bookmark with beads on the end, from Robin. It has made my book reading experience even more enjoyable. I love seeing all of the creative ways people come up with to make bookmarks! I will definitely do this swap again if there's another one.

I have contacted Waynette's partner and she informed me she had contacted her about the issue. There apparently wasn't enough postage. So it has been worked out as far as I know. And this was the only problem I am aware of.

Carole, where there many who did not get a book mark in return after sending out one? I would be happy to make another and send one to someone who didnt recive one, I know what its like to be forgotten and it STINKS! Let me know if I can help out. Robin

Joan, I am so glad you liked it. I loved those green beads. Plus you can use it as a bracelet while you are reading and you dont have to wander around looking for where you put the bookmark. |
