I know spring is coming along with all the wonderful growth and beauty, but here in Michigan it seems far off right now. So, I'd like to encourage all of us, by suggesting a swap that gets us in the mood! Here's the fun and the challenge -- grab an egg carton (since we all know that eggs are a symbol of spring and all that it brings) and fill each of the 12 spots with a small gift. Sign up ends March 7, I'll match up partners, and mail by March 17. The first day of spring is March 20. Ideas for filling your egg carton: buttons, pins, seeds, canding, earrings, a sachet, a quote rolled up on pretty paper and on it goes. We have tons of creative people, so I know there will be no problem with ideas. Cartons could even be cut in half if there's difficulty finding an adequate shipping box. I don't know about ya'll, but this is egg-zactly what I need in the middle of winter.

Hugs from Karen

Follow your bliss!

Linda-
The egg carton came in the mail yesterday. Thank you! The clothes pins are adorable, and will definitely go on the clothes line this year! My youngest boy was a little bummed that the package wasn't a toy for him, but the candies inside brought back his smile. I love green tea, thank you. The little aprons are sooooo cute. I'm going to have to crochet up some cute little girl dollies to put them on! I love the ladybug ribbon.
Thank you, it is all wonderful! Worth the wait for sure. :)

From Ruth in Georgia - I received the best egg carton absolutely chock full and overspilling! To name some of the goodies inside: A huge chocolae truffle which I ate while opening the rest, a tiny candle (that says hugs), more chocolate, two necklaces, the circular kind that you can add ornaments to, one of the ornaments was a rectangle that had pretty eggs on it for easter! I live in Buffalo and she also sent me some seeds that are called "Buffalo Eyes" I have never heard of these but am gonna give em a try, really cute! two little magnets, oh and there was a piggy pincushion off to the side of the carton in the box, a roll of vintage lace, a pot sitter for watering plants and I hope I got it all, it seemed like so much more! Thank you Ruth, you really made my day as I was not feeling well!

This was a great swap, hope we can do it again in some form or fshion!

Michelle and Ashley, I received the lovely egg carton you sent. All your hard work and talents are greatly appreciated. The pin cushion is WAY adorable. I will be wearing the bracelet out tomorrow. My loss on the window cling, my daughter swiped it from me! LOL
I am looking forward to using the bath fizzy so that I can then put on my new Easter socks. The stamp, cookie cutter and sparkles will come in handy for spring crafting. I love the cupcake gift tags and the address labels were a fantastic idea! Thank you for all your thoughtfulness

Oh happy day!

Wow!! Delicia sent me a WONDERFUL package a few weeks ago. I e-mailed her right away but didn't get a chance to post until now. It was full of seeds, an ornament, fun easter decorations, a pin, a necklace, and the list goes on and on. It was a wonderful treat to open her package and receive some early spring goodies. Thanks again Delicia!! :)

Jan,
You are so creative. My carton is such fun, something for each month of the year. You must have spent a long time getting all the little things together, I love it. My poor DH had to sit and pretend to listen to me read about each one to him, I was so excited. Thank You so much!! I love tea and the Blooming tea I have read about but never tried. The nest is precious, I feed the birds too and have lots of bird houses in my yard. I love to garden, so the magnet just fits. I can't wait to see what comes of the pumpkin seeds. I am suffering spring fever so bad. Hopefully my garden will be dry enough for me to till it this week. My carton will be on the way soon.

Tammie,
Your wonderful package arrived today! So much fun to explore the goodies. I ate a chocolate bunny before my dinner! The real Aracan egg is so unique..my husband wants to know when it will hatch and will the chick be green like the eggshell:) The vintage trowel pin is so different and will have a place of honor on my gardening straw hat. Tea, candles, daisies, dragonflies, watering can buttons, gardening stickers, black eyed pea seeds, an amazing variety. Enjoyed your letter too!
This has been the best swap...hope we can do this again. So much thought and creativity went into this. Thanks so much!
