One time I bought a nice red and black plaid nightgown at Goodwill, but when I got it home, I saw the bottom was sewed up with 2 holes with sweater sleeves that you stuck your ankles through. I about cracked up! I modeled it for Floyd before I cut the bottom off and hemmed it up.

I do not have alot to trade but would be willing to trade something for yarn. My 63 yr. old friends and I (66 yr. old) do knitting for charity at www.knitandcrochettn.com and could use and and yarn that we could receive. We have received about 30 lbs in the past month but that has all been knitted up into hats and we are ab out out. So if anyone has any yarn, please let me know what you would swap it for or if you would just donate it to us. The yarn can be anyking and any amount as we need all we can receive. My friend is unable to do much physically and she knits all day.

Thanks.

Hi Luanne,

I was born and raised in the Midwest but moved to Colorado and then Vermont with my ex-husband and two daughters. We lived outside of Manchester Center in the village of Dorset. We owned a small business in Manchester Center. After the divorce, relocated back to the Midwest where my family still is. My youngest daughter (13 next week!) is passionate about animals and saving our beautiful earth and I dream of returning to Vermont with her so she can experience Mother Nature in it's purest form!!! She plans to go to college majoring in Animal Ecology/Zoology. She has Aspergers/Autism, so college may present a bit more challenge, but we view her Aspergers as a gift, so I'm confident she'll succeed!!

I would love to have your second copy. I'm into antiques and flea market "treasures" as well as repurposing tattered cloth and quilts, so let me know what you would like to trade for, if still interested. Thanks!! Lin

Is your second copy still available? I lived in Vermont for 7 years and STILL love the movie "Baby Boom" with Diane Keaton which was filmed in "our town" at the time we lived there!! Anything in particular that you're looking for.......I make various items from old tattered quilts. Also have old doilies and many miscellaneous items.

SO nobody wants my nose shampoo dispenser? Geez. Can't anybody lower their standards for me? LOL. It all started back when I was in college and my cousin, who I have always adored and has been a big sister to me, asked me to help her for a sale at her interior decorating store. I did and had so much fun just being with her. I wanted to send her a card to thank her, so I found one that said--"I've always looked up to you." and then on the inside "And you have a booger in your nose." So for about 25 years now, we've been sending nose and booger stuff to each other. So that's my story!

Follow your bliss!

Karen - tell me you're kidding! A NOSE???????? I'm dying laughing right now! All I got for Christmas was two gift certificates to Barnes & Noble, and my mom gave me a check. Sorry, ladies, neither are available anymore. My house note got paid with the check, and I've already bought The Apron Book and another one, so they're history, too!

I received 2 copies of the Hallmark movie called Moonlight & Mistletoe. It was filmed in the town I used to live in up in Vermont. Would anyone be interested in bartering? I love yarn, roving I can spin, or just suggest something!

Thanks,
Luanne
