Posted - Dec 20 2010 : 12:50:51 PM OH MY!!! What a wonderful surprise today!! Farmgirl Secret Santa HUGE box of goodies! Candles shaped like trees, dog hair rollers... a must in this houes, Amarilys bulb to watch grow. Love it. Very cute kitchen linens WITH A SANTA SCRUBBER and my favorite crotchet scrubbers from netting. Those are the best. A journal, photo calender, an angel pin and a cute little holder for recipes or photos. Just wonderful. WAS feeling the holiday blues and this brightened my day. Broke it off with BF in Iowa, so no Christmas at the farm this year. It was a need to situation, but this really takes all that away.

Posted - Dec 17 2010 : 4:19:39 PM To my fantastic and oh so sweet SS Annemary #763. I got my christmas package with a "Christmas SWEETS" cookbook that has recipies that sound so exotic that I can't wait to try them all. A lovely vintage look christmas pin, and a pendant/pin with running stags. A vintage look santa figure, a memo pad, Mary Engelbreit stickers, an oil warmer, sugar scrub, and a gingerbread man ornament that will go on my tree as it is perfect with my decor this year. A delicate crochet pot holder, a gingerbread man cookie cutter (which will be on my tree too), and penguin christmas socks which I am wearing right now while eating dark chocolate orange. You have gone above and beyond this year even with being busy having a baby! Congrats on that and I know what joy he will bring to you and your DH. Thank you for everything, and God Bless.

Posted - Dec 16 2010 : 8:35:06 PM I'm doing a little happy holiday dance because I had the bestest package in the mail today!!! Thank you soooo much, Diana. You've been an amazing SS and spoiled me rotten!
I LOVE the Idaho cookbook. I'm planning on perusing it when I log off tonight. What I peeked at looks delish! Thank you for the journal too "She who laughs...lasts"! Love it, and a really great reminder that laughter IS the best medicine. The cocoa and candy won't last long, and I've already hidden them from my DD's and DH :)The stocking with snowmen peeking over the top is hanging on my pantry door...the only holiday decoration this year since I've been so busy with my Mom. Again, Diana, you've been so kind and generous. Thank you!!!! (((HUGS))) Kelly

Posted - Dec 14 2010 : 6:18:56 PM Thank you Santas Glenda and Becca! Mom and daughter shared their Santa duties and it was delightful. I got a big box that rattled before I opened it. Inside I found it was a Merry Tex-Mex Christmas celebration all the way from Texas to Minnesota. Cowgirl hat, bandana decorated, with a maraca for sound and homemade spice mixes for Chili Con Carne, Cajun corn muffins and southwest potatoes. They even included a corn muffin mix and a can of beans to get me started. Mmmmmmm! Thanks so much! Susan

Posted - Dec 07 2010 : 05:05:49 AM Thanks Secret Santa I received your box today with a new cook book full of Gourmet Inspirations (healthy alternative recipes to many favorite dishes)! First thing I did was sit down with a cup of cherry tea and flip through the recipes. My secret Santa also seems to know that I love trying different teas and sent me a selection along with a beautiful star for my Christmas tree. This was my first Christmas parcel and a great surprise. Happy Holiday and Thanks.

Posted - Nov 23 2010 : 3:34:29 PM Recieved a wonderful package from my SS yesterday. Always fills a box to the brim with goodies. She sent me seasonal pumpkin salt and pepper shakers, lovely leave coasters, a hand knitted dish cloth, purse size manicure set (which I needed desperately) French vanilla body wash, paper soap from Pier 1 (never seen that before, can't wait to try it), hot apple cider scented sachet, jelly bellies (yummy) and delicious Walker shortbread rounds which I enjoyed last night with a cup of tea. As always she especially takes the time and creativity for a beautiful homemade card. I absolutely love them, each one is always unique and special.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness!
Have a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. ((((Hugs))) gerri Farmgirl Sister #1197

Posted - Nov 22 2010 : 5:55:36 PM Thanks to my Secret Santa! I got a package today and it was so much fun. There are 3 candles that are truely adorable. They are in tiny aluminum pie pans. One looks like a pumpkin pie, one like a cinnamon roll and the third, which I am enjoying right now, is pecan pie. There's hand made paper with Johnny Jump Up seeds. I had kind of forgotten how cute they are until I saw a patch of them in a friend's flower bed this summer and they are on my list for this next year. I'm not sure how my Santa is so in tune with things I love! There were 6 delicate embroidered vintage napkins, I looked at them in amazement because they are so much like some I had with the same style of stitching that my Grandma had gotten from Iran about 50 years ago! Wow! Thanks again.

I just wanted to post, that if my SS is sending me any gifts, I have not received any. I don't know if they are getting out, or are going to the wrong address. I have not received anything the past several months. In fact, I have not received but one package since we switch up the partners. So, if I do have a SS, please let someone know that I have not been getting my gifts, I have also sent an e-mail, and about to send another about this. Thank you.

Posted - Nov 05 2010 : 6:01:36 PM My SS is so sweet that she sent my package right off to me so that when her baby (little bird) comes, I would not be without a surprise this month. She sent two beautiful towels that are fall colors, hand cream, and chapstick for the cold that will get here eventually. Another hand made card, and a ceramic plaque to remind me to "Give Thanks". Thank you for being so thoughtful and selfless. I pray that everything goes well with the "little bird" and you have an easy time of it.
Farmgirl love.
