This is the pincushion I sent you. I am so glad you liked it!

Nadine, thank you for writing me and letting me see what you made me! I was hoping that your pin cushion wasn't lost and then it was. I appreciate you sending me a new one. I will definitely find the necklace handy. I have never seen one like that. You are really clever Nadine.
I really enjoyed this swap!

Blessings, Linda

Enter and leave with a happy heart!

This message is for Linda Stubbs. I had to remake your set of pin cushions because the box came back damaged. The box was torn and my address was readable but not yours. And the necklace pin cushion was smashed & the little one was gone. Have no idea where in the mail system it is. So I will be mailing the new ones out on Monday. I love my tissue holder and my pincushion is on my sewing table by my daughter's sewing machine that she uses when she comes down to visit from Idaho..

Linda you can upload pics using Photobucket. If you will go to the technical support thread, Gabe has posted a very detailed instruction on how to do it. It is actually very easy after you do it the first time.

Hi Sara, I just got home from work and I had a wonderful package waiting for me. The pin keep is too cute and all the extra goodies are great. I just got my tomato and pepper seeds started so I will put the forget-me-not seed pot under the lights with them. Thank you. I love everything.

Here is a pic of the WONDERFUL PIN CUSHION package I received from Toni

Isn't that little bird pinkeep just the CUTEST!!!!!

And I love the rectangle felt one . . . it's what I use for my actual work because it holds LOTS of pins.
The "heart" towel hangs on my oven handle!

LOVE IT ALL!
THANKS TONI!!

Barbara, i am going to put the ties on the end with the embroidery just at the edge...I am just going to take some grosgrain ribbon and stitch it on and then it will double onto its self and just war around bundle and tie...Will take all of two minutes (if that to do it).....I bet you could market the pattern and sell it as a quilt pin carrier and pin cushion travel case....I think it would be marketable on Etsy.

Barbara I love the pin cushion that you designed. It seems that when you come up with your own ideas, they seem to work for the best. This is a wonderful idea, because I like to take my sewing everywhere I go. This would be really handy. Beautiful job!

Oh I love the idea about adding ties mrspinsneedles. I made the pattern from my head and kind of winged it. (scary thought!) I knew that you enjoyed sewing from your blog and tried to think of some type of pin cushion you may not have. Where are you going to add the ties? I am also going to try to post a picture of the one you sent me - but may need some help. Barbara

Don't forget to laugh!

Hi I thought I would pop in and say thank you again to Barbara in public for the lovely pin cushion she made for me and post a few bragging pictures so you could all see her wonderful handiwork. I must say it really is one of the nicest pieces of sewing I have recieved from a swap. Actually both of the swaps I have participated in with the farmgirls have both been very nicely made and put together.(of course one swap I got finked on, but oh well)... So here is her work...Thank You Barbara...I will be adding ties and using it as a roll up for when I go to see clients in their homes as my pins container fits perfectly in the pocket(quilting pin box)....

Hi Kate
I just wanted to let you know that I received my heart yesterday. I love it. What can be more appropriate than a heart? And I loved the surprise gift also. Have a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
I will have yours out this week. My DD has depression and is going through a really rough time just now (panic attacks) and has to have 4 iron infusions within the next 4 weeks. n Say a prayer for her.

Hi Everyone,
Seems to me that things have been percolationg along quite well. Has everyone sent their pincushions? If you haven't it would be a good time to finish them up and send them off. Valentines is almost here!
Thanks everyone for participating. Great job!
