The Mail Art thread has become 28+ pages long, and many members are not reading through it all for updates on what has transpired.

As has been discussed, Mail Art is whatever creatively inspires you, anything literally, (within good taste guidelines) can be sent to members. The idea is to send first to the person whose name is directly above yours on the list, and from there at your own choice or pace; but trying to average at least one mail art piece being sent out per month.
It's great fun!

Hello Gals,
Well, it finally looks like we ought to take a little hiatus from Mail Art. Seems like enough gals need to catch up on other things. But it has been marvelous and we'll start 'er back up after the new year... and get a new fresh list going then. So, be a watchin' for a Mail Art post in 2010!
Thanks to all of you that have participated. I'll be looking forward to our next go around.

Alee, thank you! I did e-mail meg already and I did kind of figure it wouldn't be put up online, but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to miss sending something especially after I read how some ladies never got anything. This is going to be fun!!

Monica- the list isn't published since it contains our addresses and real names. You need to email megan@maryjanesfarm.org and she will get you signed up. Then, when the next list comes out (the next will be the October list), you will be mailed your copy! Neat, huh?

Does anyone know when the Aug list for mail art will be out? Aug will be my 2nd month on the mail art list and I'm looking forward to making and sending again, although I have to say I was a little disapointed when I didn't receive anything for the July swap. I know we all get busy with our daily lives, and if so then perhaps we could drop a line and let one another know if we are not participating for the current month.

Hi, all you farmgirls! I am brand new to the site, and mail art is the reason I registered. I love the idea of sending a little piece of sunshine to someone once a month. And to receive one as well? Well, that is just a wonderful bonus!
