Tonight I attended a recognition gala for people and businesses who make a positive impact in Bracken County. I wasn't a nominee but I wanted to look chic, so I whipped up this fascinator from newspaper. Next year, maybe a dress...
I got the basic technique from a UTube video, but gave it my own twist.

That's the beauty of it- I work at the newspaper and have access to all our excess papers.

Vanessa your newspaper hat AND you are adorable! Better start saving papers now for your dress next year, it’s going to need lots of layers and packing tape, lol.
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

About 7 years ago my oldest daughter made a wedding bouquet out of old Harry Potter books. It turned out beautifully! :)
