Besides this site I am addicted to You Tube. It is sort of like Number Five in Short Circuit, "INPUT, INPUT"!!!

I love learning new things. I have always liked making jewelry but have never done wire wrapping. Always been a little scared. I have been watching this particular artist's videos and decided to dive in. Took a couple tries and disassembled before it came out ok. These are my two pieces I made today. Beauty is I only needed cutters. It is mostly done by hand with no tools. Pics 1 and 3 are the fronts pics 2 and 4 are the backs.

I have been interested in making jewelry ever since I was a wee tike with my first pop beads set.

I think I have over 400 pairs of earrings by now. Tons of bracelets etc.

I have been told to make for sell. However, any craft show or flea market I go to 70 % are... You guessed it. Jewelry booths.

Nancy, you could make so many pretty jewelry items! I can't wait to see what else you make. I'm really intrigued by the designs.

Nancy, those turned out so beautiful. You did a great job! What will you make with them?

Hi Barbara,
I used my thumb and fingers. The wire is 20 gauge wire bought at Joann's. The wire is sort of soft and stays in place with my thumb while I bend it. Once wire is bended it gets work hard and will keep its shape. Like anything the first attempts I did were awful and I cut the wire off the bead, twice. Wire is inexpensive so if I mess up I can cut it off and start with a new piece of wire. Here is the video,I studied.

Actually here is a better one

I love these---but they look kinda hard to make. How do you get the wire to curl and stay on the pendant---and what kind of wire is it. Very unique.
