Hi Ladies, I find that I just don't like the style of jeans in stores these days. The low rise waist is not for me or a few other ladies I know. I do like ones that sit up on my waist, a few years ago my little nephew referred to them as "Grandpa Jeans"! So be it, I like 'em but I usually only can find them in the thrift stores once in a while. Do you know of a brand like that or have a suggestion or comment, let me know. Thanks, Shannon.

If you like to buy online, the QVC shopping channel has a great line called Denim & Co. The have several different styles including some that sit at your natural waistline. They have great tools on their site to help you pick a style that will work for you. They also have petite, regular and tall in a big range of sizes. I buy all my jeans from there, and I they help me keep everything nice and covered! :)

I like the ones that are a bit higher so it keeps everything under control and the spare tire hidden, lol. I figure if they are clean and somewhat in style who cares. I wear shirts that cover most of my rear anyway. I am now in my late 50s and past impressing everyone. I wear what feels good.

Another brand you might want to look into is Carhart. They make clothing for the construction trades with tougher denim and more pocket options.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestion everyone. I've heard of Lee, Eddie Bauer, and Gloria Vanderbuilt, but have never had any. I have never heard of the Duluth Trading Co.,or Not My Daughter's, but would like to check them out. We don't have a FleetFarm Store near here so that's out. We might be going on a holiday to North Dakota this summer so maybe I could keep my eyes open. Thanks again for all the help, I knew you farmgirl sisters would have some good ideas.

Do you have a FleetFarm store in your area. I find jeans there that I like that have an elastic waist on the waist.

My Aura jeans fit at the waist from Cavendars, but I haven't bought any in a while, so don't know if they have changed them. I also like Lee Riders.

I really like Lee brand, especially with the "no-gap" waistband.

I like the Eddie Bauer jeans for women, curvy fit. The waist is where it belongs and I can bend over and not worry about looking like a plumber! I also like the "Not My Daughter's Jeans" line as well from Boston Proper.

Good luck finding the brand you like best.
