It's me again!! I'm looking at my FarmGirls for help looking for cheap fabric! I am currently pregnant with my second child, (4th for our family), and I'm looking to make some skirts for winter and cloth diapers for this little girl coming to see us in a few months!

I have Joann's and Hobby Lobby in a town about 20 minutes away that I try to get to every once in a while, but it's becoming increasingly hard due to LIFE! lol! Does anyone have a site they use online to order fabric? I've gotta have at least 2 yards (maybe, depends on the deal!) and/or try to keep it under $3 a yard!

Does anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks girls!!!!

I too order from fabric.com. If you look at retailmenot.com, you can usually find coupons - in fact, they have coupons codes for MANY online stores!!!!

Oh my goodness, Marie! I just bookmarked that site. Can't wait until we can feel well enough for a trip to Minneapolis! I checked out the facebook site and see some of my fave designers! Thanks for sharing!

Joann's sells online and they have their usual coupons for % off, free or discounted shipping. When I was young and starting my family I also shopped at the thrift stores using good quality clothing which I took apart. Baby clothes take very little fabric and men's cotton button down shirts work great. A man's shirt usually contains at least 3 yards of fabric. Hope this helps. Congratulations on the coming arrival!

Fabric is tricky. Most sales are not on stuff you really want. We have a warehouse fabric store here that has more fabric than you can look at. It does not appear that you can order online but they are nice people and they will probably put an order together over the phone. Here is the link:
