I was thrilled to learn that one of my favorite blog writers, Christy Jordan, loves to dress up by wearing men's flannel shirts over men's henley shirts! She shops at Cabot's. I have been wanting to own a jean jacket lined with flannel. I sent for an old pattern found on Ebay. Was about to make one, but rummaging through a thrift store, I found a guy's jean jacket lined with red flannel!! It was cheap to boot. It looks fantastic. I washed it and dried it--it's already for me to wear. I figured my fellow Sisters would understand my excitement. Can't wear it today. It's going to be our last warm day here in the NW. It's 70º

I lived in Spokane up until this past July...
I have been keeping in touch with friends, (east side)and they have started getting their freeze & uber cold weather...
Do I miss it? Nope, :>)
The West side is fortunate,,, nicer weather and milder winters.... Lucky you.

The jacket feels so good to wear! Just loving it. We are having a very mild October so I can wear it a lot. Seeing my favorite shirt is flannel and favorite pants, jeans.

Sounds like you made a great find! Nowadays I wear Carhartt jackets but when I was in high school flannel lined denim jackets were all the rage and I owned several! This sunny weather is so wonderful after all that rain last week! I'm heading outside to clean off my roof/gutters and do some yardwork as soon as the sun comes up!
