I've come to the point where make up had stopped looking made up and pretty and started to just fall in to wrinkles and look awful, but I have a rather uneven skin tone and I don't look good or feel attractive without some kind of aid.

My family history of skin cancer keeps me from letting myself tan up naturally so that's out. I'm looking for some kind of affordable, natural and safe moisturizing tinted /skin tone smoothing foundation.

I've tried some of the natural bronzers and they turn me rust coloured!!

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I use a TINTED MOSTURIZER from Mary Kay! Also use a mineral powder foundation from MK.

I have been using the tinted moisturizer by Aveeno. I am on my second bottle. I have also used the tinted moisturized from Mary Kay (because my sister-in-law sells it and I get a good deal!) I like both of these products. Neither one is oily and I have oily skin.

I have also used the Almay foundation that comes out of the tube white and changes on your skin. But I don't think it was actual moisturizer but it had spf.

I love Paula's Choice products. You have to order online. I get the tinted moisturizer in color #1. It does have a golden cast to it, but blends perfectly for me. It is priced around 15 dollars. I will tell you that I tried L'Oreal's 'B.B.' cream and it broke my face out for weeks. It was so terrible. So, back to P.C. I go. I have loved all the skin products I have bought with only one exception (because it broke me out...but not too unusual for that specific product. My skin is weird) Also, it does have an SPF rating on it, though can't remember the numbers right now. Paula is huge on sun protection, so all of her daytime stuff includes it. Also, you can return it if you don't love it. :0)

I use Jane Iredale cosmetics almost exclusively. My dermatologist sells them, but they're available online too, at janeiredale.com. I've been using the Dream Tint tinted moisturizer, which has an SPF of 15. At $38, it's an investment, but then, a tube lasts me for a year. It gives a nice matte finish, is very concealing, yet looks so natural it just looks like you have great skin. You might want to see if there's a dermatologist/spa near you that does free makeovers with Iredale products. Though I can buy from mine, I prefer to order from their website because they always send your order beautifully wrapped and with really nice free samples.

Thank you both soooo much! I'll go look them up. I hate the cake-y look of standard store brand make up on me anymore, I need some thing much lighter and moisture rich. These both sound wonderful

I love Olay CC cream...it is less than twenty dollars and has spf already in it. It is light (not greasy) and evens out skin tone. I probably sound like a commercial but I just love it.

Hello Annika :-) Have you ever tried Bare Minerals ? They have all sorts of natural products, you can even sleep with them on. I do believe they carry a whole skin care line & they aren't anymore expensive than any other natural product ;-)
