I am looking for a good boot to wear in the fields, barns, corral etc..
Raise sheep and need a good boot when handling for shearing etc. Something that can handle getting wet and will hold up.
Thanks

Sandra

Third vote for Muck Boots. I have Muck slippers, too, for general garden work when it isn't muddy out. The calves on my Muck boots are a little snug, so if you have wide calves, you might want to check and see if they have a wide-calf version.

I second "The Muck Boot" brand. My husband wears "Bogg" brand and mine always last longer. They come in midcalf and higher heights and also in a winter weight.

For mud I just wear rubber irrigating boots, anytime of year, for snow I have going-to-town boots, like Uggs, but not. For working outside in snow I have a pair of Kammik boots, they are insulated, about mid calf high and have a cinchy thing to tighten them at the ankle. I don't like boots with laces, of buckles, anything that hay and mud can get into. These are pretty good with nylon tops and heavy lugged rubber foot and sole.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

I like regular old cowgirl boots. I can wash my with the hose, and my feet will not get wet.

Bogg boots are the best! Warm, sturdy and hold up great. I wear mine in the barn all fall, winter and spring.
