Hi ladies. Yesterday I finally found a white comforter to fulfill my daydreams of romantic prairie style. I found it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a reasonable price.

ALL this led me to wondering, where is the forum to talk about Farmgirl decorating? A place to show off the great bargain, yard sale find, or one of kind item and how you are using it in your house/barn/yard/camper/etc.

If there is such a place on here, please point me in the right direction. Otherwise, I guess I will post here on the fashion thread. Bedspreads are fashionable, right?

Isn't that pretty!
I'd like to see nothing more than a decorating forum!!!
I love that style too, by the way!

Love the white comforter!!!! would love to do my bedroom in blue and white, but between the dog and cats, I don't think the comforter would be white for long. LOL. I'm thinking of doing a duvet cover in mattress ticking, still light in color, but will stand up( I hope) to the critters. blessings Phyllis

With MaryJane having a line of decorating products out now, I would think a decorating forum would be just the thing. I would love love love this, too! Meantime, as others have suggested, just start a thread in the Across the Fence forum.

BTW, I got a nice white comforter at Bed, Bath & Beyond back in May, also on sale. There's nothing nicer for keeping warm -- although right now, with the triple-digit heat we're having, it's hard for me to get all wistful about that!

Thank you Nini! It already has a nickname: The Big Snow. I will start a thread here in Farmgirl Fashion because I do think decorating is fashionable and it's more than just crafting. Some ladies are SO much better at pulling together a certain look than me. Thanks for your support ladies!

I keep asking for a decorating topic, to no avail:(

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Julie, I think it would be nice to see how other people are decorating and what kinds of decorating ideas are out there. I am always interested in looking at how rooms are decorated and I am into the magazines all the time.

Ok, here's a pic of the new comforter. King size at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $79. It's something I've wanted for a long time. I hope to get rid of my tan carpet and put down dark wood flooring. Most of my inspiration comes from magazine pictures and make-overs on blogs. I love to see someone transform a blah room into something truly beautiful. I'm not great at it and love getting new ideas from others.

I may start another thread to show off our decorating ideas.

I'd love to see a picture of your new comforter. Like Fran said, post it anywhere you'd like.

I know theres a thread to show things your working on in the "Across the fence" section but after that I think most of the ladies just create a new thread in the same section to show off their finished items, collections or other home/garden crafts.

I find comforters to be fashionable. ;)
Post it anywhere you like (We'd all like to see it.) if its completely out of place one of the mods would prolly just move it to the right section.

Live simply. So that others may simply live.
