I'm NOT a seamstress but thankfully my mom is. I'm looking for a comfortable, feminine dress pattern that's chaste yet pretty. I like longer, fuller skirts. Basically think Laura Ingalls, Anne of Green Gables type stuff. Anybody know where to find a pattern like that? If it's simple enough I might try to make it but otherwise I'll be sending it up to my mom! I also want to find some summer type dresses even sundress type patterns that have a vintage look to them. Any idea where to find such patterns?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Kim, I've bought a couple of patterns from this company, the big pocket jumper and the my favorite dress pattern are comfy and nice looking, and they have a bunch of others that you may like as well.

I love longer style dresses too !

Call me stupid, but, I have never heard of "Stumble". HAHA Where have I been? Philippians 4:13 has been my favorite for many years. It has gotten me through a lot of tough times also.

I googled "vintage sewing patterns" and found lots of great resources for old patterns of every type, including the styles you asked about.

There was an ad somewhere (I think it was an MJF magazine actually) that had vintage patterns www.sovintagepatterns.com. I can't help much - I just look in Simplicity or Vogue or Butterick & go from there lol. Hopefully you can find something that works for you!

I have found many such patterns doing STUMBLE. If you do the stumble and when it asks you to fill out your interests put in sewing. I have found lots of dress, skirt, apron, bags etc. Just stumbling.
