Toenail piggys that is! Do you have to have yours painted? Feminine or wild colors?

When I was in the military, it was my one way of revolting against everything uniform. I wore my hair in its nice tight bun, no makeup, no nail polish, but under my boots was always a fun nail color.

My sister recently took me to get my first pedicure, but I have to admit there is something more decadent about taking a long hot shower, then getting out and painting my toenails while still in a fluffy pick chenille robe. It just feels more indulgent!

Mine are in two different shades, painted by my 9 year-old, who gave me a home pedicure.

I love to have my toenails painted a bright red. They are always painted in the summer when I live in flip flops, and not so much in the winter.

I always love having my toenails painted! Right now I don't have a color :( But I like to do all sorts of colors depending on the season, or if I have an event coming up where my color needs to match something. But I definitely like doing new colors or having designs on them. My Mom sometimes glues rhinestones or something like that to make it even more pretty:)

I paint mine in the summer when other people can see them. Once I wear closed toe shoes in the winter I don't bother. Most of the summer they've been bright coral - very cheery!

The one and only time I allowed my daughter to talk me into painting my toenails, it was summer, and I was wearing flip flops while racking my large laying hen coop, and the hens went nuts attacking my toes, so by the time I was done, polish was mostly gone, and the coop had little sparkles every where, lol...

My tonails are always painted. Usually something wild and unexpected. Sunday evenings in front to the t.v. are nail polish nights.

Right now mine are painted a sheer gold because Nora insists on painting our nails every once in a while! LOL
