Posted - Aug 07 2011 : 12:52:18 PM Toenail piggys that is! Do you have to have yours painted? Feminine or wild colors?
When I was in the military, it was my one way of revolting against everything uniform. I wore my hair in its nice tight bun, no makeup, no nail polish, but under my boots was always a fun nail color.
My sister recently took me to get my first pedicure, but I have to admit there is something more decadent about taking a long hot shower, then getting out and painting my toenails while still in a fluffy pick chenille robe. It just feels more indulgent!

Posted - Aug 09 2011 : 08:37:05 AM I love to have my toenails painted a bright red. They are always painted in the summer when I live in flip flops, and not so much in the winter.

Posted - Aug 08 2011 : 9:46:04 PM I always love having my toenails painted! Right now I don't have a color :( But I like to do all sorts of colors depending on the season, or if I have an event coming up where my color needs to match something. But I definitely like doing new colors or having designs on them. My Mom sometimes glues rhinestones or something like that to make it even more pretty:) God's and Farmgirl's Blessings, Megan

Posted - Aug 08 2011 : 3:49:21 PM I paint mine in the summer when other people can see them. Once I wear closed toe shoes in the winter I don't bother. Most of the summer they've been bright coral - very cheery! |

Posted - Aug 07 2011 : 1:56:34 PM The one and only time I allowed my daughter to talk me into painting my toenails, it was summer, and I was wearing flip flops while racking my large laying hen coop, and the hens went nuts attacking my toes, so by the time I was done, polish was mostly gone, and the coop had little sparkles every where, lol...
