I really like the long, old fashioned, feminine nightgowns the girls wear in "Little Women." Where can I get one?

I swear I was born many many years too late. Love all the old style cloths.

I love these nightgowns, too, and mine is almost threadbare......I am going to research some of your sources. My last one came Vermont Country Store. It is labeled Past Times. I love it so much!!!!

I, too think I was born in the wrong era!! Vintage\victorian all the way! My mom calls me a hopeless romantic. :-) Catherine, I just looked at the Victorian Trading Co....wow! I'll have to forward that site to my fellow romantics (most of my friends are)...:-) Thanks, ladies for all the nightgown info!

Oh I've been checking out the websites you ladies mentioned, Thank you! I'm saving these sites for when I have some extra cash.

Kathy & Sherry VermontCountryStore.com is just a tad bit awesome! There is more than one nightgown I want from them, winter and summer gowns...oh my!

:)

Emily, went to your web address to check out all the patterns and it's down. Is there another address or site I could visit to see your work?

I make Civil War nightgowns for a store in Gettysburg Pa (the Civil Affair) they have tons of them from so many local seamstresses.

I adore Lanz of Salzburg nightgowns. My husband swears I am the only woman alive who still wears them.
