Thanks, y'all! I'm working on the blog post right now, so it won't be too long! The blog is back up...it goes down towards the end of the month...we're working on that!

I love long full skirts but my body type (short and full) is not condusive to such a fashionable look. I've seen people pull it off but I can't. You look beautiful in your's, though. Nice touch with the stockings and boots, too.

Oh, yeah, and I LOVE the dog. No photo is complete without some four-legged animal in it. :)

I would also love to see this tutorial!
I tried to visit your blog and it said it was unavailable :(

Oh, the gathering on this was AWFUL! It felt like 1/2 a mile of fabric....and it was probably only 1/4 of a mile. :) Actually, I think it was just 20 feet. Doesn't sound like that much when you write it out!

Great skirt, great ruffle!
I just did a bunch of gathering on 3 skirts, full ones. I'm taking a break from gathering right now, so I'm extra impressed!!!!

Thanks, everyone! I'm thinking of doing a tutorial on my blog, of how to make a skirt like it. It's really quite simple...just some math! I made it out of 3 yards of 60 inch fabric.

I LOVE it! Would love the pattern! I haven't sewn since middle school so I'll be new at sewing soon. I need help! But, this is exactly the kind of stuff I NEED to learn to sew. The stores don't carry stuff like this any more, and I'm very conservative christian. And would love some like this for church!

I do make skirts to sell sometimes...I do circles, half circles, gored skirts, and I could do one like this, if you wanted. You can email me for more infor, if you want!

Thanks, everyone! We do have a lot of fun when we do these kind of pictures. I think it helps it to look realistic!

Kayla, you are so pretty and I love your skirt. I enjoyed all your pics, I adored the ones of you in the fields with the flowers.

Love the skirt (you should make them for selling), love the photos, and I sensed so much happiness coming from them. I think Dave likes to take pictures! I really enjoyed all of them.

i loved the action shot. It brought back memories of when I was a little kid the one dress I had that would spin like
that, such fun! I enjoy the feeling of wearing a long skirt now too.

Absolutely LOVE that skirt! and I think its so great that you got to have a fun photo shoot with Dave. don't you hate it when they don't tell you when they are taking the pictures? My husband does that sometimes and he gets some really goofy shots of me. Then again...sometimes they turn out really good too! Thanks for posting :)
