Tonight, after track practice, my Mom and I went to Boston Store and I found my graduation dress! It is so pretty; it's black on the top, and it's form-fitting in a non-trashy way. Then the bottom is taffetta that's beigeish with black ribbon type material in a design on the whole bottom. So pretty! Just wanted to share!

Ruth, your reunion sounds so much fun! I hope that my grade school friends stay in touch through the years. I know I will with most of my good friends, but I also want to make new friends.
Diane, I live in the West Allis/West Milwaukee area. Thanks!

Megan, you look very pretty. Congratulations on your graduation and good luck in High School. Where in WI are you living?

That happened to me too! We just went to two different High Schools, but you can look at it as an opportunity to meet many new, wonderful friends. I just went to my 50th High School Reunion (yes, I'm that old)! I saw lots of old friends, some had changed allot and other hadn't - it was amazing. Most of them I had not seen for 50 years. It was great to spend time with them catching up on all the years that have gone by.
Enjoy your Summer and your coming new adventure to High School!
Hugs, Ruth

Thanks Ruth! I know to most people 8th grade graduation doesn't seem like a big deal, but my class has been together since 2nd grade, and most of us are all going to different high schools. :(

It was my pleasure to share! My hair is usually pin straight, though. My Mom curled the bangs for me.

Actually Betty Jo, I graduated 8th grade. My school makes a big deal about it though, since our school is k-8, and most of us have been together since third grade.

Okay, so the original dress I bought was a little more mature than what my friends are wearing, and I felt that I wouldn't fit in at all, so I bought a new dress. It's black with a purple orange flower design on the bottom. It's still cute, and I do like it a little better than the other one. I think you girls will like it a little better too! The new one has more color!
