Was trying to make a new clothes pin bag by sewing a plastic clear shower curtain to some pretty fabric. My sewing machine decided that it wasn't going to work. I think it needs a new belt. Going to take it in on Thursday.

Do you have a walking foot for your sewing machine. That might help the problem. Mine works much better on slippery fabric with that type of foot.

know the feeling. and when i finally carve out soem time to sew when i want to sew, i want the machine to do what it is suppossed to do!! even if i have been neglecting her.....
