Use a steam setting on you iron to remove stickers from your children's clothes that have been washed and dried
turn item inside out and place a Terry cloth towel under section to be ironed so that it it is layered in the clothing item . Use steam setting on the area where the sticker is. Iron area for a few seconds then check sticker too see if the sticker is ready to be removed.

I don't know about gum as my DS doesn't have gum too often.
