I bought a new flannel sheet set. The package it came in was a zippered vinyl bag. My son has these building sticks, sort of like lincoln logs but flat (made here in downeast maine but I don't know the name of the company) that are loose all the time and we can't ever find all the pieces. Well, I realized that this bag was big enough to hold all the pieces. These bags can also be used for cosmetics, shaving/personals kit for travel, carry small craft things for travel, storage for smaller items. Just a thought.

I've made up little medical emergency kits and store them in these bags which are now in the trunk of the car for any time I need to access a band-aid or what have you while I'm on the road.

The small ones are helpful when you are packing. You can really stuff a lot into them.

I love those bags also. We bought a new comforter and it had a huge one, well, I held onto it and now it fits all my breastfeeding supplies, including the two pumps. No more random discoveries of supplies when the next baby comes around, all in one safe, clear bag.

I use them when I pack in on horses. One contains all my freeze-dried food. One has kitchen stuff. One has dog food. One has beet pulp (for the horses) Then I have two canvas zippered "boxes" that hold my clothes and swimming stuff. Works great. Some bags are cheaper plastic and don't last more than one or two trips.

I reuse those as well. The plastic is pretty tough and they do last a while.

I use lots of zippered bags for crochet projects I'm working on. I have a small bag that I keep crochet hooks, etc... in.

I've used these for storing stuff too. Actually, when Mary Jane was in IL at the Carson's, she talked about ways to use the zippered bags. If I don't need them, I give them to my daughter and she uses them for clothes or toys. I didn't think about storing craft stuff (like yarn or fabric) - good idea.
