I spotted this cute button clutch at a local Thrift, it looked new, as if it had never been used, and for only $5...
I thought... I can make that... but then I factored in the cost of a cloth clutch, a gazillion buttons and a couple of hours work and thought... Just buy the darn thing! lol!

How ever I thought I can always put my stash of cast off buttons to good use on a small tote bag.....

That is so cute! Did they glue or sew the buttons on?

I still want to do the Boat Dinner cruise..... but during warmer weather! lol!

I love popping into "Possibilities" wine & sweets shop across from the little Resort Mall.
Anytime family/friends come to visit, I take them to CDA for the afternoon. It's just a nice little way to spend the afternoon.
And of course I have to poke my head into the Pendelton Shopp and the Antique shops.....Hubby has to hide my credit cards....lol!

Grace, we're the same way. We go out for coffee and to eat at the little local hole-in-the-wall places, but never anything fancy. The resort and the lake are really pretty this time of year with all the lights they put up.

One of these days I am going to talk him into taking me to the Davenport Hotel or the CDA Resort for New Years Eve... I'll bet the Lake is lovely all lit up.

It would make a lovely evening bag if you are getting dressed up and going out for New Year's Eve! (Something I never do, but I dream about.)

it's actually even more cute then the picture shows...
I just might have to use it a couple of times before I retire it to my trailer for decoration.

Very cute, and I would have bought it too. The time it would take me to make that would be way more than five dollars!
