I am a compulsive jar hoarder! I find all kinds of uses for all of the jars that we buy things in. I never thought of staining them before, but this is so darned pretty! Just mod-podge and a few drops of food coloring makes them so beautiful! I've wanted aqua canning jars for ages, but either can never find them when I have the money for them or find them when I'm dead broke!

I'm making pretty holiday colored jars for my home made bath fizzies and stuff for Christmas gifting!

Thank you Diana! I love the gently tinted colors and can't wait to give it a try. It's so good to have craft-smart farmsisters =)

Annika,
I made some of these and really love them they will not hold any moisture even after baking in the oven to dry.I found if you put them on a cookie cooling rack to dry naturally the drips will work themselves out better then baking them while wet.

Woops! I think I posted the wrong link. These blogs have directions directions. I a lot of the blogs they suggest putting a coat of spray on craft sealant on them to keep them safe from moisture.
I hope that this helps Penny!
