What a great idea! I always hate it when my hubby or I have a favorite tee shirt and get a couple of stains/spots on the front. I keep some for yard work. Now I know what to do with the rest of them! I already know how to crochet :)

I did a crochet rug with tarn and worked out well. Washes nice too. The only problem is have is the time it takes to cut it up. But it is worth it.

How about a knitted rag rug? Like the trivet/potholder but much larger? Yes, I think so..for the kitchen in front of the sink.

This is a great idea! I love the bag too. Usually, I just throw our old tee shirts in the rag bag. This is a much better idea.

Yes, a great recycling experiment! I always have old ones around, no more garbage can when they get stained!

Nancy, I've seen this before and I've tried it too! The only problem is if you make it thick, it uses up quickly.
