I noticed that the mail lady did not pick up my mail yesterday. We put up a new mail box a few years ago, and the flag is gold - not noticeable from the road.

Instead of making a trip to town and buying red tape etc., I took a very old bottle of nail polish and dabbed whatever I could onto the flag. It was red nail polish, and even though is was a goopy mess, it has the appearance of crackle paint, and can be seen much better now.
