I'm in an interesting situation. An elderly relative died last year and her daughters took what they wanted & left me with the rest of her possessions to dispose of as I wish. There are lots and lots of clothes, which I intend to remake into things like bags, aprons, etc. Some of them would never be worn as is, so giving them to Goodwill wouldn't help.

There are also lots of other things, some of which I have no idea what to do with, but don't want to send it to the landfill. If I post pics, can you smart ladies give me ideas?

And if anybody wants to barter for some of this stuff, I'd be open to that, too.

Here are the first few items.

Y'know, that's a great idea! I should have thought of that! LOL My daughter loves photography, so it would be an appropriate display for her room.

Thanks!

I have several old cameras. I display them on my shelf that heads up to my upstairs. They make a great display.

Hmmm, I haven't run across any of those yet, but I will keep that in mind and definitely contact you if I find some. And I'll check etsy for the eyeglasses. Thanks!

Anybody have any ideas about cameras? I've found 3 or 4 old cameras and an old movie camera and projector! They need a lot of cleaning up.

See, that's why I need help from you ladies. It never occurred to me to pair it with plants. I love that idea! Now I'm thinking I can weather seal it and hang it on an outside wall... I love growing herbs!

Thanks, Joanna!

Love the little house!! That is adorable. It is a version of a shadow box for your small items. It would be really cute with some small containers filled with herbs set in your kitchen or even hung on a wall, provided it was in a bright location.

ohhh, the fun your going to have creating all kinds of new things!!
