I only have 1 sheet for Mason's cradle. I was thinking about buying another one for the times when he spits up or pees or does some other baby fluidy thing on his sheet. That way I wouldn't be so rushed to hurry up and get it washed and dried. The problem was that I didn't want to spend the money on another sheet.
Then it hit me! The size of the matteress in his cradle is like a large pillow!
Hubby and I have a cal-king size bed and when you buy a sheet set for one of those, the pillow cases that comes in it are the oversized ones. I took one out of the linen closet and slipped it over the mattress- a perfect fit!! It's perfectly snug! I was thrilled that I had used something that I already had to "make do" instead of buying something new. Just had to share! :)

My oldest is 41 and we always used pillow cases in the cradles and bassinets...

Wow! I never would have thought of that! I have a CalKing bed too and the crib is set up like 2 feet from it! How did I never make that connection? You're a genius! Thanks for sharing!!!
