Hi girls!
One way our family is able to live within our means, and stay creative too is to rescue thrift store, yard sale and unique antique furniture...I love to redo them and then decorate our home with different pieces in each room! Sometimes they keep the same function and other time's they are completely transformed...

It's just so satisfying to make or paint something instead of buying every necessary item for our home brand new!

Here, take a peak!

How about you?

Thank you ALL for your kind words about my Painted Ladies...!

In the spirit of getting me off this computer and back to my paint brushes, I have started a little CREATIVE RECYCLING BLOG CHALLENGE on my blog today. I have some " ladies in waiting" in my basement studio and I'm sure they would love a new look for spring!

I knew I would find other "creative gals" here who like to " make things new again" too!

Join me if you're up for a little CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE!

ps. check the Make it Easy merit badge BUILD IT GREEN catagory to see if any of your creative recycling ideas have a badge waiting for you!

Deb,
I love to take flea market finds and make something new but..... I have nothing as beautiful as the items you paint. They are truly lovely.
Thanks for sharing .

Oh what fun! I used to paint, stencil, decorate children's furniture. Your pictures remind me what a good time I had doing it. Amazing work Debbie!
